Pets & Horses Tier 5 Horses (19+ Supporters)

I don't support this, 50/50 horses are too fast. White horses already move at an incredible speed. But what you don't see is that this is an MMORPG, these worlds start small then develop into something you conquer. 40/40 horses already allow level one characters to move at the pace of a level 100 with a decent speed build. Speed builds come at the cost of less damage and defense. These horses would just ruin speed builds. Period.

 

have you seen walkspeed builds that go much faster? Realistically, horses should be much faster than anybody could run. Its kinda the point of horses, transportation. It would devalue walk speed builds a bit, but horses once again, were meant to be faster. I know that this is an mmorpg, and how would you conquer the world? These horses are meant for transportation, and a decent speed build wouldnt lose very much value, because not many people use it anyways, also, the bulkiness of the horse is why some people use the ws build.

Are you kidding me? Not many people use speed builds? That is almost an archer primary. But you cannot devalue an ENTIRE build because you want all other classes to move at a faster pace. Legitimately I think you're putting more effort into arguing that you really should. I understand you put a lot of thought into this, but it seems like you refuse to take no for an answer. That is not how this works. But yet, you say speed builds wouldn't lose much value? I think what you fail to see is that your idea has been suggested in the past, maybe not as in depth. But what you need to understand is that people didn't like the 50/50 horse idea in general. White horses are fast enough. Let alone people liking the 50/50 horse because they will be fast and do damage.
Side note: You said Realistically horses should be faster than anyone should run. I will 100% disagree with you for one reason and one reason only. REALISTICALLY yes, they move faster than people. But this is a fantasy MMORPG, a player should be able to adjust from the abnormalities that are being proposed in real world situations

 

Horses have existed before speed builds, and the game was not MEANT to be played as an archer on crack. Archer is more meant as a DPS build, and I think walk speed will eventually be adjusted, if you seriously are thinking that the only reason that this suggestion is bad is because of a current in game economy... I have no words. I get that it will damage the walk speed economy, but better horses really will not push out the walk speed items. People will use them nonetheless. The reason that archers use walk speed builds, one of them anyways, is because of the vertical movement. You cant move upwards with horses that well.

 

Apparently, you need reasoning for no votes to count, I say that because this is just too complicated, all you have to say is "My suggestion is too add a donkey that's faster than every other horse, kthxbai," and either way, 50/50 horses would be way to fast, not to mention would ruin the point of speed builds entirely.
Anyway, I'm about to contradict myself and say that you don't even need to count no votes (and you would've evaded a whole flame war had you taken the advice of my first post.)

Also, I rarely use horses anymore anyway, I stopped using them because I had to get used to glitchy 1.9.

Hilarious. Look, I've been maining archer for three years, been on Wynn since VIP town, and post-Gavel, I've met roughly 4 archers who use speed builds. And I'm a person who likes to interact with others, I'd know. So no, it's not a primary.

On a note regarding the thread, I like the idea, and it'd add a cool purpose for horses that would make them less pointless. Perhaps you could nerf the speeds a bit, but other than that, it seems like a good enough idea to me, Good luck.

You've been playing for 3 years, you only have a level 84 archer, you probably sit around detlas all day "Interacting" when that won't make you see everyone. Also note I said "Almost" an archer primary. It's used by so many people that the build is KNOWN, and it's know primarily for ARCHERS. I swear it's like you tried to argue back but you gave no reason. Plus saying "I'd know. So no, It's not a primary" gives absolutely zero validity when you don't even have access to the highest level builds or content.
