The Door of Time - Level 16 Medium Quest

Story: Old Fred tells you about the rumor that the Door of Time has existed before Wynn's discovery. He says that if you go in there, you could end up any when in past or future history, but you had to use it right. He tells you to start by testing it, and go a few hours into the future. After the test succeeds, he tells you to go back in time and collect [1 Painting of Bob]. When that is complete, he asks you to go to the future and read his tombstone.

[1/3] Old Fred: Welcome to my humble abode. I am Fred, an old archaeologist.
[2/3] Old Fred: You see that door over there? That leads to your past, present and future. Just walk in and think of when you want to go.
[3/3] Old Fred: Give it a test, think of a few hours in the future, then walk right in.

Walk through the door of time

[1/3] Old Fred: Excellent! It works! This could finally be my earth shattering discovery!
[2/3] Old Fred: How about we make a little cash. Go back in and bring me [1 Painting of Bob]
[3/3] Old Fred: I will reward you for your help, just you wait!

Go through the door of time and get [1 Painting of Bob]
You see Bob being interviewed outside the door of time, maybe you should ask for a painting.
Ask the artist that is drawing Bob for [1 Painting of Bob]

[1/1] Artist: Why yes! I have a spare one if you need it.

Go back to Old Fred through the door of time

[1/3] Old Fred: Amazing! I must conduct research immediately!
[2/3] Old Fred: But wait, I am old...
[3/3] Old Fred: Can you go to the future and read my tombstone, I should be buried under my house if I can afford it!

Go through the door of time

You see Old Fred's tombstone on the ground. He still has 23 years left.

Return to Old Fred

[1/3] Old Fred: Great! According to your info, I still have 23 years to go!
[2/3] Old Fred: Well, id better be off to the lab to test these samples
[3/3] Old Fred: Oh! I almost forgot to pay you! Here you go!

Reward: 1500 exp, 32 Emeralds.

 

1. The door of time may be part of the main storyline.
2. Why would Bob carry around a briefcase of his photographs?
3. Pretty sure medieval times had no briefcases or photographs.
4. The amount of xp would level you up. Where as other quests at this level only give around 700 xp...
5. This could causes a paradox causing Wynncraft to be riped apart.

 

1 I thought that at first, but so far there is nothing so I decided to share this
2. Because hes Bob, and I wanted to add a sense of humor (I tried to make it obvious)
3. I can change that to painting if I so must
4. Most quests around level 15 are easy quests, so a Medium quest would generally give more exp.

 

Yeah but 3k is way more than the lvl 15 medium gives. Which is 700 xp.

 

I made some changes (3k exp to 1.5k, Photograph to Painting, replaced bobs line with a painter)

 

Basically a Fetch Quest. Gotcha

 

I'm sure the GMs already have plans for the door of time.

 

I kind of feel like this is a low level Haven Aquinty... Also cut it out with your modern stuff... This is the 3rd thread where I tell you wynncraft is medical goddamnit stop making hacks and photographs and whatnot... Also, there are 3 quests for level 15 already, my suggestion is that you move the quest to be level 16. Also, I see no notation of where this quest is taking place? I am pretty sure there is no graveyard around detlas and saints row which would fit perfectly is for level 21. Also as stated before the door of time could A) be planned for another quest by staff or B) inferfear with the main wynncraft storyline. Wait a second.... Isn't pit of the dead (lv23) about going to the past and seeing what happened? In my opinion a lot of time travelling quests. And lastly, about the photograph, how about you go to the guy who craves his tombstone and ask for a copy? Seems more theme-fitting.

Edit: a bit more emeralds for the quest? 32 emeralds seems a very little amount for a fetch quest (maybe like 6eb?)

 

If you can't read, I replaced photograph with Painting. And 6 eb!? Look at potion making and a confused farmer. 32 and 44 Emeralds.

I was just looking for an area on the map that had barely been used, and I came up with this area.

 

The door of time is being used for the main storyline quests.

 

Let me know when you find proof.

This was today on a thread asking what the door of time will be used for.

 

#1) The Door Of Time is linked to main story line
#2) Check out the Clock Mystery, it's got time related things
#3) The quest lacks proper content
#4) Wynncraft's Theme or Lore does not fit your quest at all

I just want to tell you to read up on Wynncraft's lore and more info on it before making a suggestion like this

No need to be rude... I can't read but by the time of my writing it was still a photograph (look at my quote you see it there). Also look at Mushroom Man.
I believe myself to be an experienced player that understands how big quest rewards are.

I suggest you do more research about the wynncraft lore before trying to make a quest using a main part of the storyline, also this is somewhat of a fetched quest.
