World Movement Spell Scaling

    Hey peoples, just a quick idea and why I decided to post this little suggestion.

    Anyway, the main problem I encountered back when I was build-making-happy was simply: why even care about walkspeed, and therefore agility, as mage and warrior? Technically you can just wear statue, and if you have mana regen, just teleport and charge away as if it were nothing.

    Assassin and archer, on the other hand, cant wear these boots because of the very nature of their spells, despite assassin being stated to have a higher aptitude for defense.

    Finally, a spell already has been shown to scale with a stat to encourage investment: heal with intelligence.

    So i believe that warrior and mage's movement spells should scale with agility, and furthermore, items that severely reduce walk speed, should subtract from their stats.

    It would be rather simple to calculate:

    Something like (obviously able to change):

    Mage: Base Range + basechange*agilitypercent*(agility < 0? 2:1)
    That is a java conditional operator. It works like this:

    (True or false statement ? Value if true : value if false)

    Warrior: Same only replace range with speed.
    If it were duration, a high int warrior could travel just as quickly with low agi as a high agi low int warrior. Additionally, if it were duration, people would max their speed and fly across the map of they had enough mana regen (no)

    TL:DR - People with -100% walk speed shouldnt be able to fly towards you and/or keep up with assassin/archers with moderate walk speed. And agility shouldnt be as useless to those two classes

    YASS. This makes total sense. If it takes mana to to a person, then heavier gear should either increase the mana or decrease the effectiveness. Maybe this also affects horses?

    the only reason jaydon always wins me in duels because he charges none stop and i cant keep up alltho i have way more walk speed

    He does the same to me xd. Although this was mainly the result of me teleport spamming with statue and feeling guilty, and realizing walk speed is kinda worthless on warrior
