So for those who don't know what aggro means, in terms of video games, it's basically a technical term that describes who has an entity's attention when fighting. If you play games with aggro, you pretty much know where I'm going with this. I would like to see methods of increasing or reducing mob aggro as either a stat (on armor or weapons) or a type of spell (maybe a red powder replacement?) One huge reason for implementing aggro is for better teamwork, tanky warriors (or other classes) can take the aggro of a boss so their powerhouse teammates can survive. This stat would have no effect in pvp as it could be annoying in the nether. Aggro would also increase to a player dealing a higher percentage of damage over other players, like if an archer did 10k damage over the melter hits of the rest (1k). The archer now would obtain the aggro of the mob only if everyone's aggro stats are the same. Instead of being a stat, aggro could also be used in powders as a special to draw the aggro of mobs in a certain radius. While making aggro in a powder effect would be vastly easier to implement, I believe players would enjoy the aggro stat when creating their builds.

    TL;DR
Get mobs' attentions for a distraction to help teamwork.

Any suggestions to this? Please reply.

This would be a kuel idea. +1
Another thing that would be cool w0uld be consumables that aggro all mobs, like firecrackers or flares.

Personally, if 4th tier spell upgrades would ever added, I think forcing mobs to target you would be a great final upgrade for war scream...

Oh yeah I would love to be able to implement aggro for warrior as a spell upgrade as well, although this could clash potentially with low defense warriors although that's a bad setup.

That definitly could work as we have attack, defense, intel potions, etc. Maybe something starting with lvl 15 gain all mob aggro in a 20 block radius for 1 min and continues until level 100 with gain all mob aggro in a 50 block radius for 4 min

I think you should be able to turn it on and off.

It could be either a stat:
meaning - or + aggro stats
    It could be a powder:
meaning completely optional and easier to understand
It could be a warrior only ability (suggested by @Paradoxical):
meaning activated by self but I'm not completely on board as maybe the warrior doesn't want aggro

Not even that. Aggro should be turned off for afk players.

I like this idea. Most of the time in boss fights the boss usually winds up attacking only one player, barely ever switching to someone else.

This can add an extra degree of the RPG feel. In most cases, aggro is like a "priority" of monsters. In other words, higher aggro would make you seen more dangerous to monsters, therefore they prioritize killing you first. In this case, I feel like aggro should be added as a stat. Weapons/Armor that focus on increasing attack power would have +X aggro, depending on how high the damage is. There could even be an armor piece specifically for raising aggro. (Bull's Rage: +2500 Health, +10 aggro) Seeing as Warrior is a tank class, I agree with @Paradoxical with how spells like War Cry could temporarily increase aggro. That means the reverse could be true for Assassins, whereas Vanish would decrease aggro. Such a stat could make a difference in party layouts, where a Warrior with high aggro soaks in all the hits, while an Assassin sneaks around the crowd to deals DPS, and an Archer/Mage providing support/firepower. About spells: If aggro was added, that means some spells would change, obviously. For example, since the Mage's Meteor deals such high damage, it increases aggro on the Mage, therefore the Mage would have to keep their aggro from getting too high. Maybe each class has a spell that can either increase or reduce aggro. There can even be items that increase or decrease aggro, like @Eric Yang said.

All in all, this has a lot of potential. It just needs some work put into it.

By some more work put into it are you talking about me going further into it or the developers?

Not the developers, but not just you either. If other people, like me, agree/like your idea, you can collab on what to add to this suggestion. (I'm too much of a lazy fuck to collab, sorry.) As of now, you just have a paragraph of "what if". Shine it up a bit! Use formatting, split it up, color the text, just add flavor to it in general. Go into detail and specifics on items. Would aggro be a percent or number? What spells affect aggro? How exactly does it work? Just expand on what you have right now, and I can guarantee it will look at least twice as better.

I mean, I've been the same way. It feels like a lot of work, but it really isn't. I made a thread a while back about adding races, and I was updating it almost every other day. You just start thinking about it, and then the rest just flows along afterwards.
