World Using Elytra

Do you think you'll implement Elytra as a form of transportation? I know there is a command somewhere that allows you to fly infinitely.

 

No, the Elytra would be too overpowered since you can fly everywhere and junk. Additionally, Wynncraft hasn't fully upgraded to 1.9 yet.

This is a terrible idea.

For one, it can be abused to fly over mobs without giving a single s**t making it easier to avoid death and for level ones to make to higher level places easily.

But the fact that allows you to fly infinitely makes it ten times as worse and can be used to exit the map and fly around mobs without having to lose soulpoints. Also it makes it difficult to PVP as a person can just fly around and spam spells at someone who is on the ground below them.

To sum it up, it can be used to avoid death, to enter restricted areas and pee off 9 year old PVPers

 

Although I agree with you. They can disable it in pvp. It doesn't need to be consistent flying, and seriously. The only time mobs are a problem is when you're in a tight space. Which is where it would be useless.

 

Elytra won't be implemented in-game, simply because it will bring multiple problem to the surface, and it would require multiple map modifications prevent people from flying out of the world.

I don't think Salted will do this (yet).
