【 Quest 】 【 Lyran's Pride 】【 Currently -41- Supporters! 】

Hey, this is the quest I used for my GM appliction, and a few people said they've wanted to see it fully made.

Ok, here we go.

Quest Name: Lyran's Pride

Min Level: 86

Difficulty: Medium

Talk to Hasy in Thesead Mine

Pre-Quest:


[1/2] Hasy: Hey, you! Come here! I have something for you!
[2/2] Hasy: Wait... you're not even level 86 yet!? You cannot face the murderous Lyrans yet...


Quest Start:


[1/7] Hasy: Hey! Hey you! Kid! C’mere!
[2/7] Hasy: Can you help me with something? Yes? Good. Listen carefully.
[3/7] Hasy: We import goods into Eltom every month, except this time, our carriage was raided by some pesky Lyrans!
[4/7] Hasy: They infest the passage that we take, usually they aren’t this aggressive…
[5/7] Hasy: It’d help us out greatly if you could find out where the goods have gone, and retrieve them for us.
[6/7] Hasy: Firstly go find the carriage that was transporting the goods, that could give you an idea of where the goods went…
[7/7] Hasy: Good luck, kiddo.


[Quest book updated. Find the abandoned caravan]


(When you enter the abandoned caravan)

[Quest book updated] Follow the wreckage of goods.


(You will find a cave, guarded by two [Lyran Warriors] If you try to enter too early they will say:


[1/1] Lyran Warrior: Grah!! Fus ro bakar!!


-You feel like you should leave this place- )


When you get to the cave:


[1/1] Lyran Warrior: Grah!! Fus ro bakar!!


-There must be a way in somewhere!-


There is a somewhat hidden passage that leads into and through the cave, (Like the one in The Mercenary) If you fall, you will be teleported back to the entrance of the cave. [Note. It is VERY difficult parkour]


When you get to the end:


[1/10] Lyran King: What?! Human!? How…
[2/10] Lyran King: You’re here for the goods? Why should I hand them over?!
[3/10] Lyran King: My children are starving because the greedy villagers…
[4/10] Lyran King: They steal all the natural resources in this area of the canyon, we are starving!
[5/10] Lyran King: The villagers shall pay… for the creatures that live in the here shall call upon the Canyon Colossus to aid us!
[6/10] Lyran King: But… what shall we do with this human?!
[7/10] Lyran King: You could either join us in the rebellion of the Canyon… or warn the villagers back in Thesead of their impending doom…
[8/10] Lyran King: So? What shall you do, human?!
[9/10] Lyran King: Free the Jinko’s, Lyrans and all the other poor creatures that starve here…
[10/10] Lyran King: Or let the Villagers starve our races to extinction… It is your choice, human.


[Quest Book Updated] Speak to either Hasy or Lyran Commander


If you pick Hasy:


[1/6] Hasy: What?! The Lyrans are planning to take over Thesead?!
[2/6] Hasy: I do not believe you stranger…
[3/6] Hasy: Such petty beings cannot have such feelings!

-You shove Hasy-

[4/6] Hasy: Woah, woah! Steady on laddie!
[5/6] Hasy: Alright. If you really think this is true.. I’ll alert the Thesead Defence force.
[6/6] Hasy: I guess this is the end. Goodbye, lad.

> If you pick Hasy for the ending, you will get another quest, based on stopping the awakening of the Canyon Colossus (Just speak to -x- at -y-)
> If you pick the Lyrans for the ending, you will get another quest about the awakening of the Canyon Colossus

Minor thing: It's bad use of punctuation to put two different punctuation marks at the end of a sentence (e.g. "!?"). Pick the one that satisfies the usage of the sentence (in the aforementioned case, "?," as if there is a question mark, it'd be a question.

And if you're asking why there's a question mark and comma, that's American punctuation for you (all punctuation goes inside the quotes).

 

That's really strange, since I've always been taught it's okay to have '?!' As your punctuation. .u.

I really like it.
I actually just made a Thesead quest myself, if you look at the thread "Thesead's Mine"

The only thing I would say is to maybe edit the end when you choose to speak to hasy. It is a little unclear
Otherwise pretty good, maybe just a little short.

one thing i notice is 1,845,000 exp, around the same as qira (it shows 1.25mil in quest book but ig it gives 1mil) and cowfusion combined.

It's fine to use it, but it's not the best idea in formal writing. I think Wynncraft's formal enough to not have that kind of punctuation, so there.

I'm going to revise the following sentence:

 

I really like this quest! One suggestion though, the exp reward is a little insane. It gives you more exp than the Qira Hive quest. You should change it to 650K exp.

 

It's ok if u have the more usable one first like this," You did what?!! " it is also used slot in games and wynncraft isn't a college application, u are the only one who really cares if there are two at the end. So no wynncraft, a VIDEO GAME, is not a formal website

 

Add another quest for the other half, quests are balanced to all players.

I see some holes...

First off, this seems too similar to the hunger of gerts, except that now, there's no explanation as to why they are going hungry. Are they not able to farm for their own food? There's no "Thesead Watch," nor any signs of participation in the gerten war; they would be able to hunt freely for their own food.

Did the Lyrans happen to move into a cave with a mythical being sleeping inside it?? A "[life] in captivity" suggests that they wouldn't be able to really go around and summon a giant monster...

Also, why is the Lyran King able to speak perfect English, but his warriors have their own language?
