A small amount of exp every time you find a NEW area would be pretty cool. Don't like it if it is able to be redone tho, it should be a one time deal or people will just walk around instead of killing mobs which is also not fun.

Yes, he said that however, he also talked multiple times, in newer messages, about instead having it at all locations & not just new locations, but on a cooldown instead. To which I replied that it should not be on a cooldown, but a one time deal. Since obviously the game would at that point just turn into a bot fest ;)

Well ultimately it would be up to the mods to decide. Some things would work better one time, some would work better with cooldown.

The second option can be fixed using the /testfor a player in an exact y x z cordinate.
There may be a flashy stone in the end/middle of the cave and when the player stands on it he/she gets the reward.
And maybe there should be a cooldown to prevent abuses from the chunks thing.
Nice thread and sorry for bad english :)

    1. That would require a redstone clock. Clocks are not allowed ingame.
    2. Using /testfor alone would just constantly give the player the reward until they stepped off.

It could be a pressure plate, or something that we already have, like a Relic Shrine.

Really good Idea. I like both of them. Maybe when Entering a new area it would show "you have discovered [X]" with the /title command. I hope that If it gets added its in gavel too. because guild territories are not in gavel...

Umm what about the clocks? You know you could have a repeat command block instead of a clock that is less laggy hooked up to a chain common block to teleport the player out of the area

Also who said clocks are not allowed? If they devs want to do it, they can do it
