    We have horses for land, so why not squids for water?
    They would work like horses, leveling up as you ride them more, with higher leveled squids being faster. They would be sold by a squid merchant for 24EB on this island, and would be summoned with a Prismarine Crystal. Squid breeding would be a thing, of course, to make the rich poor again. The tiers would be as follows: Squidling(10/10), Squid(20/20), Giant Squid(30/30), Kraken(40/40), and Squiggles(50/50). Unfortunately, squids cannot be different colors, so they would all have to look the same, but they could be named like horses.

    What i meant was maybe just a agile water bomb like guardian reextured into a little island thats 4 by 4 blocks.

    Boats? Boats? no offence but boats aren't as worthy as squids. Although it won't be removed as squids require you to be higher level.

    Also, I'd rather have ships be added (Someone link that guys awesome thread) rather than squids but squids r cool

    It's just whenever someone puts up a new idea for transportation, it feels kind of redundant. Like we have so far:

    Walking/Swimming/Sprinting
    Horses
    Boats
    Scrolls
    Spells
    Airships

    More transportation feels kind of unessesary, you get what I'm saying?

    i don't really see the need for this but i still like the idea
    also since more than one texture can be added to a mob, it could make them variate. just like horses.

    Tier 1-Fast Water Travel
    Tier 2-Allows under water travel
    Tier 3-Respiration 1
    Tier 4-Crash into mobs for crazy damage and knockback.
