World New Grinding Area (lvl 100) (17 Supporters)

    A basic idea, not too many details

    So, I've noticed that there does not seem to be a grinding area for lvl 100s, where people can get lvl 100 loot or lvl 100 type xp, so I thought of this idea, because supposedly (supposedly) after beating the Qira Hive, the player is expected to be around lvl 100, so, kinda like what ToL was pre gavel, I came up with this idea.


    Behind the hive shop, there could be an enderman that stands at the Hive shop (instead of a random "hiver merchant) that prevents the player from entering if they have not beaten the hive. It would stand there and guards the entrance with the name "Qira's Guard" (Iron golems don't really fit the theme). If you have not beaten Qira Hive, it will push you back saying

    [1/1] Qira's Guard: "I do not have orders from my mistress to let you enter!"

    And if you have completed the hive, you can just walk past to the normal master hive shop area, but here is where the main part of what I want to add comes in. There would be all the amenities of a small town, Item Identifier, Bank, and item buyer. No potion shop/weapon shop/armor shop/scroll shop would be here. And similar to ToA, there would be a center room filled with lvl 100 mobs named "Qira's Creation".

    I don't really understand where the place would be in the hive, and why do we need a grind place for level 100s?
    I grinded my level 100 archer in ToA floor 6 level 5 for 5 days, and got 17% xp. I don't see the point of this addition.

    The problem is that ToA is not supposed to be used for grinding

    2. not all classes can successfully sit on a fence and reach all the mobs in ToA
    3. spawnrates suck
    4. you got 17%xp in 5 days

    3. Not really. Floor 6 level 5 and 7 have pretty good spawn rates.
    4. 17% xp in 5 days on the way to 101 is actually pretty good in my mind.

    ok, so you missed my point. most classes struggle to grind in ToA, because they either cant get on the fence, or the mobs do too much damage, or they are too fast, or there are too many/too little.

    ToA is also not supposed to be used for grinding, I tried to grind there with xp gear on my mage.... just didnt work out.

    Meh I feel the point of 100 is it's hard to get too. "BUT DXP WEEKEND IT WAS EASY" mind you most of the level 80s that become upper level 90s won't reach level 100 cause they weren't slowly adjusted to the grind. This would make getting 100 a breeze and level 101 easy.

    not really, the xp is just a little bit more, and the main purpose is loot as well, because few places currently have lvl 100 loot. also, it would just make getting up there a bit easier.

    Without double xp I get 800 xp from level 97 mobs in ToA I have literally 99% xp bonus 4000 to 5000 base xp per mob is sanic fast compared to my current grind

    its really not, when you consider the amount of xp required to lvl up, but It could be lowered.... fine ill make it 400-600.. HAPPY!?!?!?

    since the hive shop currently has a lot of space behind it, it would be possible to put a little tunnel leading to a grinding room on the right/front of the hive master shop. yes.

    This is basically just a super-op version of ToL, then?

    Here's why it doesn't work;
    1. The mobs give way too much XP for barely even a challenge (lots of xp, not that much health)
    2. It's accessible from level 80, even though it's supposedly only for level 100s
    3. It's supposedly for level 100s so it's only good for getting to 101
    4. If it's for the levels around 91-100, then it's got more use, but then it's also overpowered
    5. It seems like this is basically just "grinding from 91 to 100 is too hard so let's have a broken grinding area"
    6. Grinding areas (apart from ToL, I guess), don't actually exist; they're just areas the community finds that's good for grinding
    The part about adding some Town elements could work, though I don't really see the point.

    The Qira hive is the alternate quest of Toa so it would make sense to have a new quest, probably in Ahmsord, to grind with, however I would not like this implemented even if it were well thought out because level 100 is supposed to be a challenge.

    2. Players get less xp the higher level away the mob is from them
    3. no, because a level 95 COULD successfully grind there

    6. yes but in the GM Doc, there are 3 types of mobs. Action, grind, and "filler" (spaced out over areas). There is literally a "grind" type mob.

    While 300ish-400ish XP is less OP, I still doubt the necessity of this place. It feels like a way to easily/effortlessly level up, instead of going out and finding your own places to farm.

    As for the Grind-type mob, I don't see anything of the sort on the GM app page.
