Your suggestion needs more explanation, and I don't understand anything what you just said.

Don't you mean "exciting"? I don't know how one could make grinding exist more, move it up the 4th dimension?

There's a difference between "exciting" and "obnoxious", and we already have a spell for certain mobs that make them explode, not every grindable mob needs to explode.

Don't you mean "summon more mobs?" If so, that's not possible with the current system we're using.

I don't even know why I'm heavily criticizing this suggestion....

If you want to make mobs explode ID there's always the Infilak ~90% Exploding, so ~90% chance for a mob to explode upon death.

 

It really shouldn't be hard to code in. There must be a function to spawn a mob, so it's possible to call this function whenever a mob dies and a condition is met, such as if an rng roll is successful (each mob would have a certain chance to summon another mob, and a certain mob or list of mobs that can be summoned). Just spawn it in a random unblocked position near the mob that was killed and it should work. That is assuming that jumla didn't choose some weird unorthodox way of programming in mob spawning, which I hope he didn't :P

Well Selvut has mentioned that, currently, mobs spawning other mobs is not possible, and it's probably because of unorthodox coding, although, Jumla said that he'll fix the messy code so that new developers can have an easier time with it.

 

He'll be out of coffee to spill by the time he's tidied up a single script though.

This is a really well written and well thought out suggestion which I agree with. I don't know why you guys are criticizing his suggestion, I see nothing wrong with it.
