World Auction System Ingame

I think it would be easier to put in a auction house or a type of broker were you put in our items. Then if some one sees it and likes it they can buy it from there. Instead of sitting in forms and waiting for both people to be online a the same time.

 

I agree with your suggestion, but try to put more detail, like where these places would be located, how it would work, how it would look, etc.

 

So basically, this is just a way to sell items offline. Couldn't you just post on the Trade Market section, log off, log back on a few hours later, and bam, have people wanting to buy?

This seems kinda pointless in that sense.

That's not how Auctions work though.
You bid and by the end date the highest bidder receives the item OR someone pays Buy Out amount.

The problem with this is it's just unnecessary, really.

If a player wants to buy something from someone, they will /trade.
If a player wishes to host a shop to sell multiple things they will post a thread on Trade Market.
If a player wishes to host an auction for an item, they can do that on the Trade Market as-well.

If you held an Auction ingame, how would it work?

Would you simply type in an end date, bid increment and buyout price, that would automatically update?
Do you need to be online for the Auction to work or will it work offline too?
Would the items be sent to your inventory/bank if this is an offline/automatic system?
If so, what happens if you have a full inventory/bank?

Finally, there has to be a limit on items being sold.
The only way to trade and store items ingame is using the chest GUI, which has limited slots.

Wouldn't it be easier to just make a thread on the Trade Market, where you can establish dates to trade, have time to clear up space and not have a limit on the amount of items you can sell?

It's not actually a auction type house u put ur item I ah / auction house for your price and they will buy that's just the name of it. Go on any prison or factions servers they have what I am talking about.

About ur buyout amount I see now ya it'll be what ever they have there price set as

 

really good idea because not everyone lives in the same timezone and I cant tell you how many trades ive canceled due to the person being on when im asleep or in school, but it would need a different way of doing it, like maybe putting up your item for a specific player once youve made an agreement on the forums and you put in what they have to pay with, be it le or items, its not a browsing market because I couldnt see wynncraft do that

 

I did a huge suggestion on this type of thing once, but it just kinda died. I will probably make it again. hue.

 

Guys, I don't understand the hate here... This guy is right! Forums are no place to sell Things, Forums are a place to tell stories, informations and News. And seriously, Servers like dungeon realms implemented a perfect shop System that deletes Shops after some days. Sorry for "Advertising" , but some People can't look over the horizont
