Hello, dum-I mean, intelligent mages, berserk warrior, accurate archers, and sneaky assassins.

Today, I will share with you my expectations for a fully-updated 1.10+ Wynncraft, including some 1.9 stuff.

First, let's start off with the map.

I am expecting to see Magma Blocks more in the map, because having lava and magma together flows so well together, and it would really add to fire-builds, like the Nether, Molten Heights, Mt. Wynn, Ozoth's Spire, the list goes on. I am also expecting to see another expansion to Wynn, such as more eastern desert and higher mesa, more western jungle behind Troms, or maybe even an ice ocean south of the ice canyon, because Wynn is garbage compared to Gavel. While we're on the subject of Gavel, I want to see something in Ahmsord. Something like a Temple of Mythicals for Lv. 93+, or at least some sort of major quest for the higher levels, because the highest major quest we currently have is Aldorei's Secret (Or maybe Fantastic Voyage, but I haven't done it yet, so please don't spoil it for me). The Tower of Ascension and Qira Hive quests are considered post-game quests (Quests that are done after the main game/major quests), so we are not counting those.

Next, let's talk about the mobs.

As you know, 1.10 brought a new mob and two new mob variants. These are the Polar Bears, Husks, and Strays. Following up on map expansions, I'm wanting to see Husks in the desert/mesa expansion and Strays in the ice canyon and maybe Frozen Heights. Maybe Polar Bears in another ice biome in northern Gavel, like pure alpine terrain after the Canyon of the Lost.

Now, let's discuss another interesting thing.

Dungeons! A favorite for the Wynncrafters, but unfortunately dungeons are pretty useless at Lv. 40+. I want to be able to see dungeons in Gavel. Although there is...
...the supposedly in-development dungeon in the Realm of Light,...
...there still isn't any sort of other major dungeon in Gavel. My idea would be to add some sort of higher advanced dungeon. Since the dungeons go in order from strongest to weakest, I think when you complete a dungeon, you would get a key fragment. When you collect a certain number of fragments, you can trade them in for a higher advanced key. For example, you can trade Skeletal Fragments for a Stray Key, as a Lv. 45+ dungeon in Gavel, near Llevigar plains.

    tl;dr

I'm expecting more emphasis on Wynn, as well as usage of the new mobs and dungeon improvements.

    Goodbye, strange creatures!

To be fair, the server could go straight from 1.8 to 1.10 because 1.10 only added stuff, it didn't change any of the mechanics introduced in 1.9.
1.10 is more like an expansion pack for 1.9 than a full update .-.

While I do agree that 1.10 is a rather small update, IIRC it still changed a few things from 1.9/8. In any case, we're still not fully 1.9

This is true in a way. There were some changes such as: Zombies and zombie villagers are no longer saved by a binary tag as of 1.10, which means our mob system would probably need some minor fixing, along with any zombie villager mobs we have.

If anything, zombie villagers would randomize what type they were. The only minor fixing we would need if there was a glitch, like they randomly change into a Husk or something.

Not really. A zombie being a villager or not used to be handled by a data tag called "IsVillager" or something similar but it has now been replaced by a new one called "ZombieType" which now covers zombie villager professions (instead of being randomized like it is in 1.9) and the Husk.

Right, forgot about that. I believe the tag is just {Type:#}.
