that's because we rushed them to release gavel sooner, we wanted gavel and we wanted it now. so we got it half baked with no level 90-100 content and a lot of bugs.
think how little all quests will benefit you if you already grinded to 100.

Grinding will be easier as they will most likely lower the amount of xp needed to get from 90-101 as when the level cap raises, it would be a dickhead move to make levels 101-125 need more that 130M+ xp. Same goes with levels 90+, it would be really annoying (Since each new level takes ~+1M per level) to grind for around 50M xp to get to lev 125 (If they do lower the xp needed to get to 101)

My gripe is with grinding as a whole I do enjoy it to a extent but it is excessive grinding especially in mmos that are a main turn off to most new players. I would like these types of games to be more welcoming to less dedicated players. I realize grinding will always be a staple in most games but we never see it as something that can't be improved I just want to bring attention to this problem. Even though I am not qualified or creative enough to come up with a solution.

this isn't really about me not being able to handle the hours of grinding my problem is with grinding as a whole and how it alienates a lot of people from most mmorpgs.

I agree with you in many aspects, but I think the XP should stay the same. However they should implement more ways for obtaining XP, say dungeons for example. The problem with XP is not because it's too hard to get, but because the process of getting it is boring. And video games are meant to entertain the player. So instead of having grinding as the only option in obtaining XP, wynncraft needs more dungeons that give equal amounts of rewards and XP as grinding does. And for those of you who are saying "well there will be more quests coming soon" fuck you. Quests in wynncraft are repetitive and act as only temporary solutions to content. If there were more rewarding aspects of adventuring and exploring dungeons, wynncraft wouldn't have to rely solely on content from quests.

Try grinding 10% or 15% XP everyday. You're getting a decent amount of XP everyday, and at the same time, it's not tedious at all. Just get some good XP armor and accessories and you should be good to go. As a level 98, I make 10% XP in about 40 minutes, which isn't as bad if you have a lot of time on your hands.

Still not fun though and that is tedious doing the same thing everyday.
