    I see the title, I say yes.
    Backpacks would be my SAVIOR. I have so many issues with getting around and finding one shiny item, then having a full inventory. I say to myself "Okay let's head to Detlas and store some things" but then I find another shiny item and say to myself "CURSE BOB." Or something of that nature. >.>
    Bottom line, backpacks would be pretty dang useful.
    Criticism:
    Now, if you add backpacks, enderchests loose a bit of their necessity value, and therefor banks and whatnot loose a portion of their necessity value.
    It's not a huge issue, but it makes the game a bit too easy in some aspects.

    In my Opinion Banks won't loose their value, because you can get your backpack only when you are lv.50 (so People dont make OP storage classes). The bank will still matter to all the low level people an perhaps to the high level, too.

    I agree with your general idea, but i think they should have a slightly lower level. i don't think that new players should have this but maybe at level 30-40 instead of 50. i think 50 is just too high and players will be discouredged

    I love this idea! It would be so great if I could have all my quest items for each class in their own backpack. Also banks would still have value. I would have my le scrolls etc still in my bank & the bank still can be used for transferring items between classes
