World 64 Liquified Emeralds = New Currency?

With the recent additions of mythic weapons and things like white horses which are very expensive, I suggest a new currency could be added to the game. P.E. (Purified Emerald) could be used, like all other currency to reduce space taken up in things like a bank and make things simpler. People wouldn't sell mythics for 128 L.E. but rather 2 P.E. I know several people who have several stacks of L.E. in their bank and they could save quite a few spaces if a new currency was added. You would be able to transfer L.E. into P.E. at Detlas, Temple of Legends, Cinfras and Llevigar.

I believe the best item to represent a Purified Emerald would be an "Eye of Ender" but I'm open to suggestions for better blocks!

I know this isn't new, just trying to post this so staff could see and implement it because I, and several others, urgently need this.

 

Not really needed there's nothing wrong with the currency we have right now and it's been posted around a lot already

 

As much as it would be useful, a new currency would only affect a handful of people because when you think about it, how many people really have "that" much emeralds? Probably not much, but I guess I can't really argue with what it can do to help for those who are rich.

 

I agree with this, say a 91% walk speed stratiformis went on auction, but the buyout is 48 Stacks of LE, you'd need more than one transaction (more than one time to trade) all that LE in the trading GUI. You can simply convert it to these types of "new" liquefied emeralds and never have to risk their chances of being scammed.

 

this isn't a new idea, and once again its a bad idea. this leads to extreme duping and could could even lead to many worse things to come.

 

Isn't there like 0 ways to dupe now though?

 

Maybe instead, make the new currency untradeable, and just be used as a way to clear up storage space?

Then again, you could also dupe those and convert them...

 

there will always be new ways, and a lot of them are typically secret until someone starts spreading it

48 stacks of LE. You are aware that players only have 29 inventory slots anyway, yes? And that banks only have 54 at maximum? No one will have that much money, and nothing is ever going to sell for that much money yet, I can assure you of that.

He used a decimal point instead of a comma, by accident. Since you cannot possess a fraction of an emerald, it is rounded down to 262 emeralds. 4 emerald blocks is 256, add 6 emeralds and you get 262.

This could be helpful, but in rare times. Say that you needed to trade multiple items at once. It wouldn't work if they exceeded the trade item limit, because it would provoke scamming possibly. I do see how they could be just useless clutter items too though.

 

they trade 1 or half of the items for half of the money and do the same for the other half.
