World New Quest: Wynnvatar

Information:
Summary: The Wynnvatar has been captured by the Fire Nation! You must help Latara save Wang the Wynnvatar! Travel around the world and find news on the location of Wang. Find him, then help him “Save the world”!
Level Minimum: Unknown (You will need to travel to high level areas such as Dogovi and Ahmsord so around 90-100)
Difficulty: Hard

Notes:
- Based off Avatar: the Last Airbender
- You cannot enter the Water Village unless you meet quest requirements
- You can enter the Fire Nation but you cannot enter the prison or the Chambers without the Spirit Mask.
- You cannot enter the cave containing the beast unless; It is night and you have gotten Biroh’s approval.
- Took around 2-3 hours to complete. It is my first quest so expect a few mistakes. It took a while so please give tips on how to make it better, don’t just say it sucks.
- The Water Serpent is a silverfish.
- If there is an issue with using ‘Fire Nation’ I can make it Lava Nation.
- The ‘Beast’ is an ocelot. Inside the cave there is a short tunnel filled with ‘Children of the Beast’. They are also ocelots but of a different color. You need to fight through them to get too the ‘Beast’.
- This quest is supposed to be comedic.
- I will let the people decide the stats on everything, including the # gems and xp rewards. I am not quite educated on those kind of things. (My highest class is only 49)
- While fighting Dozin There is a 7.5 minute time limit to kill him and he is rapidly gaining both strength and health with every second. The longer it takes, the harder it will be. If you die you will be teleported back outside his chambers. When the time runs out he will say something then a a comet will come down and kill you, no matter what.
- You will need the spirit mask even for Dozin.

Step 1:
Talk to Latara in Ahmsord At 1075,-4647

[2/5] I think he may have been captured by the Fire Nation! However, I don’t know where he is!
[3/5] Wang is the Wynnvatar and without him I can’t “Save the World!” Err, sorry, I mean “WE can’t save the world”...
[4/5] A few days ago our group got separated in a huge storm! We were flying above an air temple near here!
[5/5] Go there are you may find a clue on where Wang is! Find him so I can “Save the World!”, Uhh.. I meant “So WE can ‘Save the World!’”

Step 2:
Find the Air Temple

Step 3:
Talk to Monk Wyatso

[2/4] Oh, you seek Wynnvatar Wang, I think I saw him flying over here some time ago…

[4/4] I think I blew the winds far into the ocean… You may be able to find something on the Ice islands… Tell Wang I am sorry.

Step 4:
Find the Water Village and talk to Pakka

(If you don’t meet quest requirements)
[1/1] Hey! Stay out of my village!

(If you do meet quest requirements)
[1/1] Help me! HELP! This water thing is attacking me!
Defeat the Water Serpent, collect [water hide].
[1/5] Is that a water hide… I’ll just hold that for you…
[2/5] Thanks! Wait… who are you? I didn’t need your help. I could have done that!
[3/5] Wang? Well, Moph was here with me but she hates water, she left.
[4/5] You may find Moph in the swamp near Olux. She loves swamps… She has a good connection with Wang and might know where he is.
[5/5] I would go but I hate swamps, I always get eaten by some giant bug. Good luck!

Step 5:

Find Moph in the swamp near Olux at (cords)
[1/8] Who are you? What is your business here?
[2/8] I may be blind but I can see through the earth and can easily beat a wimp like you!
[3/8] Oh you're looking for Wang…Yea, I know where he is
[4/8] He got captured by the Fire Nation in Dogovi.
[5/8] I was going to go find him but the volcanos mess up my vibrations. I can’t see there!
[6/8] It would be great if you could save him for me!
[7/8] However, you can’t enter the Fire Nation Prison without a disguise.
[8/8] Find Suko, he is the prince of the Fire Lord. He may have something for you to get in.


Step 6:

Find Suko at 378, -4889
[1/5] Agh! I can’t defeat the beast inside there!
[2/5] If I can’t defeat it, my father will never accept me!
[3/5] You want the spirit mask!? No way! It’s my only memory of my mom...
[4/5] I don’t need your help! I've always had to struggle and fight and that’s what made me strong!
[5/5] Does that sound good? I’m thinking about making that my catchphrase. Now leave me! Go bother my uncle!

Step 7:
Find Biroh in the house next to Suko.
[1/5] Ahh... hello traveler. Care for tea?
[2/5] You want Spirit Mask? I am sorry, I can not give it you traveler. He would kill me. He little stubborn at times.
Biroh sips tea for a good 7 minutes without stop and then slowly continues.
[3/5] I suggest going and killing that beast for him. Once you present him with evidence of the dead beast, he will be thankful.
[4/5] However before you should probably get two tea leaves from a tree not far from here. If he does not drink that tea he may go into a rage and kill you with fire…
[5/5] And while you're at it, make that [2 Weird Tea Leaf]. I may want one later.

Step 8:
Bring [2 Weird Tea Leaf] back to Biroh.
[1/2] Perfect. One for me and one for him. I love this tea, one of my favourite.
[2/2] Make sure he does not see you enter traveller. Wait until night to go in. When you get back he should be relaxed.

Step 9:
Enter the cave and kill the beast. Bring Suko one [Eye of the Beast].

Step 10:
Suko is wobbling and cannot stand straight. You approach him...
[1/4] Wow.... You killed the beast! Cool! That is just. So. Cool.
[2/4] My dad will like… totally respect me now… I’m so happy. Just. So. Happy.
[3/4] Thank you... SO MUCH!. I think… I think I love you. I. Love. You.
[4/4] What? You want the Spirit Mask? Course you can have... wait, have what? Oh yes the Spirit Mask! Take it! This is so… cool! So. Cool. Thank you my… love. Ha! ha... ha.

Step 11:
Find Wang in the Fire Nation Prison
[1/7] Who are you? Another torturer?
[2/7] You’ve come to help me? Great!
[3/7] Dozin captured me a few days ago and has been torturing me since.
[4/7] I came here to kill him and end this stupid war. Try to break these chains then we can kill him together!
You hit the chain with all your might and nothing happens.
[5/7] That isn't good… There isn’t enough time to get the key. Dozin is about to use a comet to become super strong, his power level could go over 9000!
[6/7] … That sounded stupid, I thought I should try it though... You will need to kill him in my place!
[7/7] His Chambers are near here. Go now!


Step 12:
Find the Chambers, defeat Fire Lord Dozin and collect the [Rags of the Fire Lord]
You feel an extreme heat as you enter the Chamber.
[1/3] Ahh! I can feel the power surge through me! I will rule the WORLD!!
[2/3] What!? Who are you?! Doesn’t matter... you will prove to be a perfect dummy to test my new power!
[3/3] Feel the wrath of the FIRE NATION!


If the 7.5-minute timer runs out
[1/1]The comet is upon us! DIE!!!!!

If you defeat Dozin
[1/1] How!? How could a puny peasant defeat ME! No! How could I fail! No…


Step 13:
Report back to Latara
[1/5] Hello did you find Wang?
[2/5] WHAT?! You killed DOZIN!? I was supposed to do THAT! ... I mean we! Me and Wang! NOT YOU! Why did you do that!?
[3/5] UGH! Never trust a stranger! I hate you!
[4/5] I don’t care if YOU saved the world!! You’re SO selfish!
[5/5] Just leave, and keep your stupid rags!


Rewards:

• Spirit Mask (Low defense helmet but Increased strength, intelligence, agility and melee damage.)
• Rags of the Fire Lord (Medium defense chest plate, big fire damage and defense increase. Less water and air defense. Spell damage increase. Slower walking speed.)
  The great fire lord once wore these rags. They have the strength of the Comets still burning inside their threads. Only a master of fire can wear these powerful cloths.

 

I like this, although I am no professional.

 

It's an OK quest, but the fact that it's literally Avatar: The Last Airbender is turning me off. Plus, this seems like it would need a whole world dedicated to this one story.

 

No offense, but I like things that are original. By that I mean, don't copy a TV show for a quest...

 

Its a cool quest but I don't feel like it would belong in Wynncraft.

 

I'm not sure that exactly copying a TV show for a quest is a good idea. Maybe if it was much more original, it would be alright.

 

Well, they copied Lord of the Rings for a quest. All they did was change the names and the title. Even though it uses the show as an outline it still has plenty of originality. You would only need 2-3 small builds. The ice village which would be a small build that would only take 10-20 minutes as for the fire nation base, that would take an hour or two with a team of experienced builders. You would not need a whole world. There have been way larger builds for other quests.

Most likely due to the fact that this is literally Avatar: The Last Airbender. We like references here and there, but we don't need a quest that in and of itself is a copy. With Lord of the Clock, they were copying a masterpiece of fantasy literature, and kept it relatively brief. I'm not opposed to this idea, but for the love of Bob, please cut down on the massive amount of referencing.
