I don't really think glitched has to be a big baby about things people suggest...

 

Hmm - just have them put in Your Work, and have the appropriate authorities ensure they stay there. If some sections of the ideas are good enough for actual implementation, or are resonably balanced, with excellent lore, then the relevant authorities and people of the forums can request that the post, or sections of the post, be reposted in the "General Suggestions" section.

Yes, that which goes into General Suggestions is expected to have some degree of quality. However, it ought to have a Miscellaneous section, for "just-for-fun" ideas.

The thing is, a lack of balance IS NOT fun. It railroads everyone into the same builds; if you do not use them, you are doomed to failure because there are definitive -best- options. Admittedly, there are some rather out-there items, but they still have use, because despite their weird abilities, they are still balanced, and stuff like Infilak with its massive Explosion chance is extremely fun to use! If things are not balanced...then, well, things go to hell in a handbasket rather quickly.

 

In my opinion, the best games are the ones that can handle this type of item variety. Sure, Wynncraft provides that to an extent, but there’s definitely a meta, and there’s not really any space for niche sets.

 

Right, lets also just ban everyone under a 6 months in the forums because there might be a chance they make a bad suggestion.

ah this is a terrible outlook for a forums in my mind, that peoples ideas or work shouldn't be there because its not good enough? if its not good enough it won't be used glitch, but for people to think that there work would be made fun of or possible removed then that encourages them to not make more ideas but to stop from fear or judgement :/ I mean some people even make theirs for fun not even meaning for them to be there. Unfortunately it seems that the easier solution here would be for you to... well click away if the aren't up to your standards, sorry brother. #DontStopTheCreativeFlow :D

1. Look away
2. Never press the general suggestion section
3. Delete your forum account
4 ???
5. Profit

Well, this "category" on the forums is for suggestions, like items quests etc, what you are trying to say is that we shouldnt make items
