World Rain

Just a little sugestion:
Make the rain be a rare event that increases mob status, spawn rating in areas and xp them gives. Maybe one time per 2 hours?
Example:
Zombie [15]
Defense: -34% > -40% neutral damage; -10% > -14% fire damage;
Attack: 34 (+30%) neutral damage; 15 (+120%) fire damage;
Xp: 120% of the xp;
Spawn: 4/5s , max of 4 per chunk > 1/1s , max of 6 per chunk (to be fair I don't know how it works too).
It may also spawn a boss according to the area level. At the finish of the rain some emeralds will drop from the sky like in dungeons ([ how many mobs were killed ] : [ number of players in the chunck] = total emeralds)
It isn't much detailed yet because it's 11:40 pm here in Brazil and I'm about to sleep, but I'm going to work in this idea tomorrow if people like (if you vote for yes).

 

I take it you suggest rain actually occurs in Wynn and Gavel too, since it's only ever happened once in the past year, and 3 times in all of Wynncraft (afair)?

 

It would happen in both the provinces as a +/- rare event

Why doesn't it rain? Is it a lag issue? Weather would be more "immersive".

Having rain was as bad if not worse than when command blocks broke. It it rained around the same time as the command block broke, people would be climbing up a waterfall on the gavel door (same thing happened when CBs broke)

 

How the rain make waterfalls? A plugin? Anyway it won't be a regular minecraft rain

Well... I am in favour of this idea, but from the looks of it, rain causes some massive issues. Is there any way melting and such can be disabled?

 

I dunno about Almuj, but Nesaak is such a cold place that there will be only snow

 

Last time I checked Nesaak isnt a tundra or snowy hills/mountains biome.
It will rain there.

But sticking on point here, the rain would some how bend psychics, by that I mean, it rains every hour in the desert, when in reality, deserts don't get much rain. As for Nessak, is the same thing, only with snow.. Also..

Plus... How the hell does rain increase fire damage, also this kinda sounds like another blood moon event thread.

 

Actually I know for a fact that it's possible for you to deny snow fall, ice melt, and rain in almuj. So I would not see it as a big problem +1

 

I'm pretty sure they can change it. Also I'm pretty sure they won't add this

 

Given how such is the case, there really shouldn't be many issues with its implementation. Would it be possible to guarantee snow, as opposed to rain in some areas?
