You guys don't get it! I have suggested a Wynncraft-like server before as well. I was told to move it to general suggestions, so I did. That's why I put this here - not as an addition to Wynncraft, but a new and exciting idea for people to think about. I just wanted to know what the community could add! Besides, why would I expect the Wynncraft developers to work on something like this when they have much more important things to do?

 

So you're suggesting we go and make a ripoff of Wynn? Like, making a server as good as Wynn is something that takes years, it's not something a crappily organized groups of random people can put together.

 

How would this be a ripoff of Wynn in any way? It's an MMO in minecraft, that's pretty much the only similarity.
And besides, still not suggesting anything. Just an idea.

 

Your title is literally "Another Wynncraft-like server", as in a server similar to Wynn. Also, yes, you are. This is General Suggestions, not Random Ideas.

Sounds kinda cool, but not here in the general suggestions.

 

Meh. It's a good idea, except it's basically Wynncraft, so it would take traffic away from here.
Making provinces based on real life mythology sounds better, but we don't wanna overwork the Wynncraft team.

Mod means modification, Wynncraft is just Minecraft heavily modified, Wynncraft is modded and uses modifications, or mods, there is no way someone could make a server like Wynncraft without mods.

 

There's a difference between plugins and mods. Plugins is what they use, mainly because us, the players, don't have to download anything or risk viruses to play their creation. Mods, on the other hand, weren't made for servers at first, then turned into multiplayer-friendly for anyone to use. The staff custom-made their own plugins to make wynncraft feasible without downloads/skirting around the original coding, which is an extraordinary feat.

 

Alfheim is a world from norse mythology. Sword art online's alfheim online if based off of norse mythology.
There is another place in that game called Niflheim, based on the ice world from norse mythology

Could just be a different province, new classes could be changed to new spells and runes could be an item dropped off mobs.

 

This is a completely other idea, definitely not implementable into Wynn
