    Hello, I'm Chilli,

I'm new around here so I'm not certain that my suggestion will carry very much prestige however I'd like to make a couple suggestions that I think would improve Wynncraft.

So without a doubt, Wynncraft has one of the greatest PvE aspects and levelling schemes I've ever played with. It's fun and creative and it's probably the only MMORPG I enjoy grinding/levelling on. But I've come from a very competitive background and I just simply can't be bothered levelling to level cap and grinding the gear if it can't be put to much use other than dungeons and duels (and the nether but you don't keep your gear stats there right?), which don't get me wrong are both exceptionally fun.

Now just a disclaimer, I've only lurked these forums for an hour or so. If I'm repeating someone's suggestions or these are already planned, please disregard.

Now to the point, I'd like to see a more developed PvP experience on Wynncraft and I think it would top the cake. Now how would I suggest that you crazy developers at Wynncraft do this? Well funnily enough, the time I haven't spent grinding and levelling, I've spent PvP'ing on other very popular MMO's and other servers.

Guild Versus Guild Territory battles (GvG): So the current system as I understand, is that a guild can go to an area and type /guild attack and then the defending guild deploys mobs to fight for them?

What I'm suggesting is that a guild can type /guild attack and a message will be displayed to the attacking guild and the defending guild saying that a fight is about to go down and they have 5 minutes to reach the location. Guild members from both guilds can then warp(?) or travel to the location and after the timer exceeds, a battle commences.

The guilds will then proceed to fight and if this is implemented, it would make for some largescale chaotic battles.

There would be a small "domination" bar (wither health bar) at the top of the user interface and over 2 minutes the bar would fill up if there were no defenders left in the area. The defenders would win by stopping the attackers from holding the area for 10 minutes.

No soul points would be lost in this PvP and it's purely just for control of the area.

Guild Versus Guild battles (GvG): Now this part is basically the same as the GvG battles stated above however instead of over territory, 5 -10 members from each guild can be warped into an arena where they battle each other for either a wager or just for fun.

    King of the Hill (KOTH):
Now my second suggestion is a popular gamemode from many games and other minecraft servers and all that I'm suggesting is that in the nether world, instead of 5 minute PvP matches, there's a 5 minute timer on a certain area.

If a player can stay within that area for 5 minutes without being killed or knocked off, they would then claim victory over the round and a few emeralds would be given to the winner.

This is just to improve the nether PvP which I find is sort of stale as of current.

Anyways, that's just my 2 cents.

    Cheers,

    ~ Chilli

A surprisingly good suggestion for someone who's not been around for long, so nice job.

There aren't many problems that I can see, but there are still a couple.

First off is just the fact that Wynn isn't really meant to be a PvP experience, but these suggestions still work with that pretty decently, so that's barely a point.

Next we have the fact that AFK players could get caught in GvG battles, which could be problematic. That's still a minor problem though.

Now here's a question. Does GvG replace the current War system, or is it alongside it? If it replaces it, then that's going to cause trouble in the guild community, because if there's nobody online to fight, you get the territory for free, which is also kinda boring. If it's alongside it, it'll be 1) Probably neglected in favour of the easier current War, and 2) Hard to organize a GvG battle, since that requires several players doing the same thing at the same time, and also there's the fact that all territories are constantly in War, so even getting a friendly GvG would be hard. Furthermore, having even more servers running will cost more money and probably generate more lag.

As for the second part of GvG, the only problem would be possible lag from more servers.

KOTH is a good idea, but rather than replace the current Nether gamemode, which many people are a fan of, it would probably have to be a seperate area like Pigball or a different server, like the nether.

Actually, for some reason your gear does take effect in the nether atm.

Sorry, I didn't see the poll option and I dont know how to add a poll now :(

Thanks for the positive feedback but yeah as captainganon said there would be some flaws. Would people afk'ing in those zones be at risk by the current system anyways? I've never actually been in a guild attacking event before so I'm not very experienced in the area.

Anyways, keen to get some more feedback and if it's actually feasible
