We Have A Walk Buff.. Why Not A Jump Buff?

Hello players of wynn! We are all aware that we can get walk speed buffs/nerfs from armor/weapons. Since we have walk buffs, why not jump buffs? Like walk speed, there are some downsides to it; For speed, too fast then you can't parkour with it, too slow you can't keep up. With a jump buff, if you jump high enough you can take fall damage. But it can be nerfed as well. Anyways, this is just a suggestion. enjoy!

Because there would be those builds that are based around getting to high places. Imagine a jump boost build which allows you to jump as high as about 100 blocks. That would be:
1. Way too op.
2. Let's be honest, jumping that high is annoying anyway. So if you get a build you like and it happens to have lots of jump boost, you are going to have a bad time.

 

Eh if you play as assassin you get a jump boost in vanish

 

as an archer you get a speed boost

 

You also get escape

Jump Boost isn't handled like movement speed by the game. Speed is an easily modifiable attribute, it's just a single number that you can change. (e.x. a speed of 0.5 is basically as fast as the player moves) Jumping height isn't as customizable, and is hard-coded into the potion effects. In other words, a Jump Boost ID would only be able to increment by about 3/4 of a block every time. It'd have to be an insanely rare ID and even then people would make builds for it and become insanely overpowered.

Not to mention, jump boost in high quantities can actually hinder parkour in some cases.

 

Kinda makes the assassin spell a little less special.
