    You got my vote.. i really like the idea because most of the puzzle's in the some of the quest/dungeons are just by pressing a button or pressure plates so this would makes things way BETTER.

    I think this kinda stuff would be great for dungeons and quests and such! Although you have my support, I am a little worried about lag.

    Thats something everyone is worried about. This means that rising lava and water will have to be in small amounts in a few areas. It may lag the area a bit, but overall in the world it won't lag

    What if there were parts of the map that only certain classes could go? For example a long corridor with an iron golum watching. If any class besides an assassin tried going past the golum would push them back.

    That one cave on the cliffside of the mountains nearby the Animal Dungeon.
    A small pond inside that cave, its a special home.

    For fire and lava based arenas, maybe give the mobs permanent fire resistance? And when if the server starts implementing stuff from 1.9, they could give the boss depth strider III boots for water based arenas

    Yep. Mobs with fire resistance is needed. Also Levitation is another thing. Instead of swimming up in water he can levitate upward, and so can you.
