1.8 Class Idea: Shapeshifter (idea Retired)

If I changed the Earth Shatter to be more of a stunning skill, and gave the phoenix skill complete revamp from healing wind and change it to fire storm, would you be happy?

Basically, instead of healing, it does massive amounts of knockback and a little bit of damage.

 

please state why,
since archers arrow storm can reach to a total of 1200% spell damage per cast (according to the wiki)
I might remove the healing skill and replace it something different

 

So remove the healing skill?
Then I might buff the in-combat healing, nerf the damage on Earth shatter, and replace the heal with massive knockback.

 

Why not make it so it's more of an offensive support? Like making earth shatter stun, and fire storm knock back and make the enemy take more damage, as wellas giving it a DoT?

 

Sorry, was editing the thread for the last 30 minutes, and I just finished. Just added those into the class idea like a few minutes ago.
DoT is provided by slash, in the form of wound.

I would suggest sum sort of class that alters the rules of reality such as gravity and space and dat stuff, my brain is to fragile to go into details, don't want my house to blow up again ._.

 

Wait you mean flying (Nope, not happening)? Or manipulating space (like teleport)?

 

Considering retiring this thread because of the lack of suggestions to improve it.
Expect another class idea soon, which is a modified version of Slimeonatreee57's gunslinger class

I did read it, and it is already slightly included.
The lion form provides a damage boost already (don't fully understand attack speed bonus, but I heard that it affects things, like life steal and mana steal, so I didn't want to affect that. Also if you have a super fast weapon, wouldn't make a difference)
The bear form has a defense boost, rather than a strength boost, since it is focused on tanking and crowd control
Phoenix is more of a knockback class, and it already provides a speed buff with firestorm

Also about not able to attack if you are not in a form, I feel that if you are a human, you should be able to attack. I don't really want people in a different form, and riding horses (Imagine how it would look in real life).

 

I have decided to retire this thread after the lack of comments for improving this idea.

 

I really like your idea but (of course there is one :D)
First point If you look at the other classes you can see archer,warrior and so on. These are like basic classes but shapeshifter is something special. Its like a potato and a handy (best comparison ever i know)

Second point Your first animals are normal animals and maybe you should choose another normal animal not a fantasy animal (Thats no critic to the phoenixes under you. I really want the be a phoenix)

But I really like the idea of a shapeshifter. I can see that you put a lot of effort in this idea :D.

This idea was supposed to be labeled "retired" and I forgot to change it.
Sorry for leading you to the conclusion that I was still editing this.
When an idea is retired, I let it sink into the abyss of suggestion threads, and I don't usually revive it, but there was no way you could have known if I didn't change it

you now that there is a dark wizzard i count it as 8 classes so 3 HEALING CLASSES COM ON

 

Um dark wizzard is a reskin of mage...
And I stopped editing this class a while ago
