    So you're fine with spambots?
    The only possible benefit I can think of is getting likes from a "KILL IT WITH FIRE" reply, I know from experience.

    That is very much a captcha. It is actually the replacement for recaptcha, and it tries to only show actual captchas to those it thinks might be bots.

    Even with a standard captcha, these days they don't work very well. There are numerous studies out there that talk about how easy it is to bypass most captchas.

    Is this also true about captchas with pictures? I've seen certain captchas where the user has 9 pictures and they have to click multiple pictures that have something in them, and new ones pop up after clicking. The amount of pictures that the user must click is also random.

    The ones with pictures (which google actually uses) can be defeated by a reverse image search of said pictures, which can be automated.

    and it doesn't have to be that complicated, cortana can reverse image search and find the key words, all she needs is to be able to type in the field.
