Those of you who have played the PS game Dishonored might see were I'm going with the concept of Cursed Items and for those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, let me explain: In the aforementioned game the player will, throughout his journey, find items called bone charms which give the player a small buff like a 10% speed increase; a mechanic similar to the rings, cuffs and necklaces in Wynncraft. In a later expansion, however, the player received a new kind of item: the cursed bone charm with similar effects but working in a slightly different way; you see these new items gave buffs that were many times more useful than their predecessors like a 100% instead of 10% increase in speed But this would come at a heavy cost like NO mana regen for example...
So now here comes the interesting part in which my interest-inducing starting paragraph flows over into my actual suggestion: Introduce Cursed Weapons into Wynncraft to make weapons more dynamic and more "class-build related" by letting the player choose which stats are useless to him and which are essential!

Now... I know this is a verry unpolished simple suggestion without real explanations or examples for in-game application but, nevertheless, I thought I'd throw it out there! ^^

    P.S.
If you're interested in the general idea but (obviously) need "clarification" about unmentioned subjects; by all means leave a comment and we'll all help to make this idea viable or, first and foremost, an actual applicable idea ^^"

    Added Information:
Basically the weapons could be any level and can be implemented as special drops and to show you what a Cursed Item's stats could potentially become I have revamped an existing dagger:

    Influence
    • Damage: 81-99
    • Fire Damage: 0-0
    • Water Damage: 0-0
    • Thunder Damage: 0-0
    • Earth Damage: 0-0
    • Attack Speed: NORMAL
    • Lv. Min : 38
    • Health Regen: 13
    • Melee Damage: 12
    • Life Steal: 19
    • XP Bonus: 10
    • Poison: 19
    • Soul Point Regen: -19
The cursed variant of this weapon would be:

    Cursed Influence
    • Damage: 130-140
    • Fire Damage: 0-0
    • Water Damage: 0-0
    • Thunder Damage: 0-0
    • Earth Damage: 0-0
    • Attack Speed: FAST
    • Lv. Min : 38
    • Health Regen: -30
    • Melee Damage: 12
    • Life Steal: 0
    • XP Bonus: 0
    • Poison: 30
    • Soul Point Regen: -30
    • Defense: -5
    • Speed: -10
This would make it so that the weapon did a lot more damage but the player is a lot more vulnerable to attacks during combat.

I already spot a downfall with this thread rn, and I haven't even read it... there's no example,

I never used any of the corrupted bone charms in Dishonored or the dlcs... (you're talking about the dlc, right?) .-. But it's a pretty cool idea anyway

I think the only weapon to currently fall under this category would be the Mythic spear Apocalypse, at the risk of no health regen, it has life steal as well as some other buffs, but at a steep price, like negative Intel, and soul point regen
Just uhh wanted to point that out
    Btw nice concept :P
