    So this is my first time suggesting an item in this section, so I might not be as good as creating these kinds of threads than other people.

    Please note that I am not pushing for this to be in game, but in order for you guys to give unbiased feedback, pretend that I am.

    So I noticed that the later game you go, the less amount of life steal/mana steal focused builds exist. Most of the builds rely on things like spell damage, melee damage, spell spamming, and others. But I have rarely seen endgame builds which have life and mana steal as a key aspect of their builds. Since there appears to be few appealing choices to make such a build, I thought of a chest plate that focuses on less soul point regeneration and slightly weaker attacks in exchange for a massive amount of life steal, mana steal, and some other things.

    So lets get to it:

    Soul Sapper:

    Health: +1
    Elemental Defenses: None

    Level requirement: 99
    Strength Requirement: 25
    Dexterity Requirement: 25
    Intelligence Requirement: 25
    Defense Requirement: 25
    Agility Requirement: 25

    Identifications:
    Life Steal: 500/2s
    Mana Steal: 5/2s
    Health Regeneration: -150
    Mana Regeneration: -1/4s
    Soul Point Regeneration: -75%
    Strength: +10
    Dexterity: +10
    Intelligence: +10
    Defense: +10
    Agility: +10
    Melee Damage: -15%
    Spell Damage: -15%
    Poison: 150/3s
    EXP Bonus: -10%
    Loot Bonus: -10%
    -1 tier attack speed

    Imbued with tremendous amounts of dark energy, only one word can be seen: Beware

    (Disclaimer: I don't know much lore, so I just thought of something)
    Lore: A dwarf found a crystal of immense power in a river of lava (from WynnExcavation site D), and a friend asked him to use it to clear the decay from the forests. He succeeded in slowing the spread of decay greatly, however, the crystal absorbed tremendous amounts of dark magic, tainting the crystal. As a result, the dwarf was consumed by the dark magic, and all that remains is his chestplate, which is only covered with only one word: Beware.

    Pros:
    High Life Steal
    High Mana Steal
    Decent Bonuses in every skill point category
    No negative elemental defenses
    Has some extra poison damage

    Cons:
    Negative health regeneration
    Negative Mana regeneration
    Massive reduction in soul point regeneration
    Small reduction in melee damage and spell damage %
    Small reduction in EXP and loot %
    Receives Next to NO base health boost (not identifications) like most chestplates

    Edit 1: Reduced all skill point bonuses from 12 to 10, and increased the minimum skill point requirements from 24 skill points to 25 skill points in every category. Decreased health regeneration from -100 to to -150. Reduced melee damage and spell damage from -8% to -15%. Decreased EXP and loot Bonus from -5% to -10%. Decreased Soul Regeneration rate from -66% to -75%. Added the -1 tier attack speed (forgot to do that).

    Something as ridiculous as this would require significant NEGATIVE health. I mean, Blue Mask's entire gimmick is to give -massive- skill points bonuses, at 15 average. This gives 12, and you say it gives -decent- bonuses? In addition, that is all it gives, and it only has 800 health. The Executioner Helmet had effects similar to this, but significantly weaker, and it proved to be overpowered so the point where negative health was required for it to be balanced. This is ridiculously overpowered, and the lore interferes with the general story of Gavel as players have come to understand it.

    The issue with life steal and mana steal is that people think it is useless now that only your basic attack activates it, so no one makes builds based around it. There is far from a lack of items for it.

    This definitely needs a major buff, for such a high leveled chestplate. Give it high spell damage, or attack speed bonus. Cancer can go up to +13 attack speed, and gives more life steal. Meanwhile having high amounts of hp and poisen. Just sit and compare cancer and your idea.

    I don't really like making items... I'm not really pushing for this to be in game, I just wanted to have experience balancing equipment so I had a better idea of how to balance out my classes.

    Besides... I don't have that much knowledge of the game... there are other players that deserve a spot on the Wynncraft staff way more than me

    Well since attack tier speed doesn't effect raw spell damage as much, it's not quite as useful as it was. Plus cancer has a ridiculous -spell damage % debuff

    The huge tier attack speed boost combined with the poison makes it broken op
    Combine it with a slower weapon and the spell damage decrease won't even mean anything

    Yeah but you're not moving your attack tier by 11, or whatever it is. I did a few tests, and +2 attack speed equates to the difference of normal and fast attack speed. To reiterate my statement, +2 attack speed translates into 1 tier. Also cancer at the time being is just a bunch of poison and faster melee attacks. Third eye, which is lower leveled, provides more dps (spell damage wise) and is a better choice than cancer. The only real benefit I see to cancer is an op melee build, and it's high poison.

    You've got it pretty wrong lol
    + (or -) Tier attack speed affects the animation of melee (but not the actual damage for whatever reason .-.)
    + and - Tier attack speed do however affect spell damage
    With a lower attack speed, spells will do less damage
    With a higher attack speed, spells will do more damage
    These cap out at getting to super slow and super fast attack speeds though
    How this can come into play is using Cancer with any weapon that's in a slower range of speed, for example, Apocalypse
    The sheer boost you get from making Apocalypse super slow to super fast makes it do an incredible amount of spell damage, even with the huge negative spell damage on the helmet
    This is not just for Apocalypse, but for basically every slower weapon

    1) It actually makes you hit more times... I tested this just now
    2) I never said it doesn't effect spell damage, but since the patch, it hasn't been really effecting spell damage by much.
    3) I know about the caps
    4) I understand the difference attack speed makes, but a third eye with more mana and spell damage should do more damage. (For assassins and mage at least ;n;)

    Considering the raw spell damage nerf, it'll really only help stuff with naturally high attack speeds
    As for the melee stuff, unless it was a recent change, it doesn't work
    I easily noticed it testing with a super slow weapon forced to super fast attack speed
    The animation was that of super fast but i was doing the super slow damage (so 1 hit every 2 seconds)

    Oh yeah same here. I also found an interesting glitch. Right as you cast a spell swap your weapon slot with a different weapon. I did some crazy damage tests like this, before the patch, I used an assassin's smoke bomb with apocalypse. My god it was so beautiful. I still wanna try mage weapon swap with apocalypse ;p
