World Rough Draft Of Quest!

No, this is not a completed quest (yet). Yes, this is a rough draft and I do want opinions on it. So far all I've done is what will happen in the quest. I will link the Google Doc and list it here. Level 91



Stage 1 - Speak to Phineus at 1029, 24, -5036.

Stage 2 - Speak to Helene at 1506, 50, -5303 about Phineus’s suspicions.

Stage 3 - Gather [3 Aqua Dust], [5 Watery Aura], [10 Unmeltable Ice] and [20 Snow Hearts] and bring them back to Helene.

Stage 4 - Speak to Adam at 1364, 15,-5370 about the sealing of the mask.

Stage 5 - Go to 1361, 9, -5535 and follow the path upwards to find the Lonely Phoenix.

Stage 5 - Bring back [1 Phoenix Feather] to Adam to completely seal the helmet.

Stage 6 - Go to 1325, 8, -5474 and ascend the lift.

Stage 7 - Find a fresh enough egg to bring back to Phineus. (1531, 166, -5571)

Stage 8 - Defeat the baby dragon.

Stage 9 - Bring the dragon scales back to Phineus.

 

Just that it looks nicer if you do the quest text more like it is in-game:

Perhaps you should have parkour or a puzzle somewhere, to make it more interesting

Poll, check.
Puzzle, half-check. This is a rough draft, bare bones of what is going to happen. And anyways I was planning on adding a parkour/puzzle, but the only problem is is that this quest takes place in places where things have been built. Like the eggs, ontop of molten heights you can even see on the map are wooden catwalks, leading to multiple nests with eggs inside them

 

I would recommend adding stats for the mobs you encounter via this quest, but thats up to you

Seems like a kind-of fetch quest to me :3

 

Well, atleast it's not a fetch quest. I tried to make something different cause my first quest was 100% fetch. This, atleast you gotta get protection and then fight a baby dragon. Plus (I personally don't know how but I know there are people that do know how) there is going to be a cut scene. When you get close to the right egg, cut scene, the baby comes out of the egg and either it will be a regular boss fight or a boss fight like Quatron

 

Seems like a nice concept! ; When there are enough other elements, and the fetch-part isn't dominating it should be fine.
Also, if you ever plan to do that cutscene / the quest somewhere, I wanna make those ArmorStands happen :P

 

What I plan to do (if the command block team is good enough) is the boss be a ghast/bat and have blocks equipped on it that are designed to look like a dragon. The minimum would be one block, but it would take a lot of editing to do

 

Uhw, the only possibility for that is either a highly modified ressource pack (not quite sure if they could fit it into the current one), or a lot of FallingSands-entities, which would work, but be hard to control / likely to glitch

 

Alright through that one out the window. Probably just like a Quatron fight. Except that it an change into 4 different positions (Like on a clock, 12, 3, 6, and 9)

 

Should I do an Armor skin?
