Craftmas Chaos

There are some parts about this quest i'd like to see improved.
1. When you die in the quest, you respawn in Selchar. I'd like to see that changed, to the variant of Selchar that you are located in (e.g. Future Selchar) . It has caused great annoyance when i was doing this quest (i literally put hours in it and then ragequit)
2. The crystal on the end of the dungeon in Old Selchar respawns too quickly, please make that delay longer. It's a very big pain if you die in future selchar and have to do everything again, and then and up getting stuck at that part because the crystal respawns too quick.

Um? I first-tried it on my Mage before Gavel.

 

I'm not saying you're bad at parkour...
But you're bad at parkour.
Do you have a weapon/armor that slows you? If so, just take it off until you get to the end part.

 

On one hand people want us to buff everything, on the other hand we want people like you to keep playing. I don't know what to say.

 

Yes, i'm terrible at parkour. I just forgot/was too lazy to delete that part of the post.

And no, i'm not joking. It seriously took me 3-4 hours to do. Yes, i suck at parkour.

 

I literally did it first try, on my warrior. Past santa, realised my mistake and did it again first try then killed santa and showed tom his severed head to seal the contract that would allow the dark tower of time to teleport me back in time. Its childsplay. Have you bound shift to sprint? i find that helps in parkour as you can ctrl sneak up to an edge and then shift jump on the spot for max jump range. Usually i just wing it tho and jump straight up in a fluid motion without stopping as it feels faster and i am good at it.

 

I guess i was suffering from playing too much minecraft on one day. It messes with your head.

 

I suck at Parkour, this quest is what made me switch from my original assassin to mage. I died at random times in future Selchar, then I had to take the freaking Love Boat to Santa Island, climb the island, get through Past Selchar, trip over myself and die, book another cruise on the Voyage of The Damned back to Christmas Island, climb the island, get to Future Selchar, not follow the usually intuitive path to the right place, fall off the side of the wrong part of Future Selchar, climb up the cliffs, get swarmed by Santa's Elves, get a good customer discount at the boat merchant, not notice the server is restarting and losing my boat half way there, walking on water to The North Pole, climb the island, kick little Timmy or Tommy or whatever his name is in the face, back to the Ghost of Future Past Selchar, decommission Bad Santa with extreme prejudice, get swarmed by freaking tinker elves before i get the Santa's Soiled Rags item, wake up like Jack in Lost on lovely Selchar, the mid-ocean playground of the Rich and Famous, play a little shuffleboard on the docks, take the Ship of Fools to Fantasy Island Frozen Edition, hurt Timmy, deja vu Selchar, finally get it all done. That was after i switched to mage.
The thing is, everyone has a quest they repeatedly bungle. But this quest is punitive from a Time-From-Respawn-To-Where-You-Screwed-Up perspective. Climbing Santa's island is probably as much time as riding a horse from Troma to Excavation D Site, to use another Die-All-The-Time quest as comparison. The quest has several legs you have to do in sequence all at once. Thats fine.
It's the boat ride. It takes several minutes. Each time. I flubbed this quest nine, ten times. I spent more time in the boat than the "Quest". A Respawn point in the middle of the ocean that is right next to Santa would have saved me at least an hour of my life.
Santa isn't the boss of this quest, the Ocean is the boss of this quest.
