Vuselt Caves

The (probably not accurate) story

As corruption plagued Dern, the Endermen could only do one thing...
Flee to Wynn via the caves of the mountains in Northern Dern.
Some got there successfully. Some died. Some got trapped.
These endermen who were trapped made a home in there...

The location

Of course, they say Dern is adjacent to the Abandoned Mines/the southern mountains of Wynn.
So the location should be around here...


The background

Dern is mostly darkness, and so are the caves...
Slightly.
So I think the caves should be like the caves you would see, you know,
with stalactites/stalagmites and stuff.
But it should also have a cave-like civilization, with some purple inside the caves.

Use

Oh, all it's used for is a transportation between Wynn and Dern, or you can use the city, Yagnn (pronounced [yæn]),
for banking/shopping.

Level 130? Near the abandoned mines? What if a poor kid goes exploring and is 100 levels under level

 

Well, looks like the build team have to put a warning sign.
Or put a lock on the caves until they are doing some quest to unlock Dern.

 

I cannot imagine them pasting some sign like that.....

 

By that, I mean that if you're below lvl 125, it will teleport you out.

1. "They" mostly say that it's close to the Mines because of the End Portal there. Just theories for now I think.
2. Missing the Regen stats for Trapped Dern Emigrants. This is the amount of health a mob regenerates every ten seconds and it's the reason why a low-level can't kill a high-level enemy or boss as long as they just stay out of range.
3. How do we know Dern is mostly corrupted? It's the land of Darkness, I think there would be a lot more than just corruption, but with some kind of opposite, like the Yin-Yang thing with Gavel.

I wouldn't quite say Dern is corrupted. It is darkness, which is quite different from corruption. Corruption is formed from the battle between light and dark.

 

Well, for my lvl 90 mage, I am ready for a new challenge already, so by at least adding a new boss or mob that's simple in coding would be awesome while waiting for quests.
Or I could just keep leveling my archer, no biggie.

 

The End Portal is a confirmed easter egg, but there is solid evidence pointing to Dern in that location.

Not only are there quotes like "your species is somewhere in the middle" but in Grian's story time (lore on the Wiki) it mentions that "whispers of a new province" were whispered in the Abandoned Mines.

 

I'm just casually reading all this.. It sounds really cool. Wynncraft has some really cool lore and conspiracy and stories. Since I've recently just gotten back into playing, this is all amazing and new to me. Love it :3

 

I don't see an end portal, I decided to quit Wynncraft :(

 

Oh, it's not in the mines, it's in a tiny cave in the hills near it.

 

Dern will most likely not have to do with that end portal and it might not even be directly on the other side of the mountain,

 

First of all, if Dern is 125-170, What is 100-125?
Second, This is the land of shadow and darkness. So, I think the entire province (except for some areas) should be expansive caves. Maybe, the citizens of Dern's towns worship any holes in the cavern roof, where light shines into the endless darkness.

Would make for amazing underground builds
Add a little bit more lore

Cons
Takes a loooonnng time to build
Caves may be confusing for explorers

Worst idea i have ever seen....
1. Wtf? Lvls 130-170 ? Do you know 100 lvl is demi-god and 150 is godlike??? Do you want put mega gods without any history? For example Qira is mistress of the hive and magic creator of life in gavel.... And you MADE 170 lvl creatures which are isis emigrants wtf?
2. 25 lvl area and mods nearly godlike.... Silly
3. You just created 1 stupid mob and you think mods will make another 40 mobs?

There are so many things wrong with this statement, I don't even know where to begin. Let's begin with them being level 100s being like "demi-gods." Wouldn't this make the player at level 100 a demi-god? People who are a high enough level would be able to defeat these guys. I wouldn't be surprised if we eventually see another level increase, which would probably make these a bit easier anyways. And you're missing the point. It's supposed to be a challenge, another thing to do. Ok, what else is there to say. Mods don't do anything when it comes to content, that's the content team. GMs have to be fairly creative, it shouldn't be too much of a challenge to come up with some ideas. Oh yeah, Qira. Qira isn't a god. I don't know where you get that idea. She's an extremely powerful being, yes, but certainly not a god. You know that Gavel is not the end right? Chances are that harder and harder monsters are going to be added, eventually completely eclipsing Qira in power.

 

Man ... Amadel final Form is demi-god 100 lvl death 150 lvl some kind of god 100 lvl player is demigod why not? Check toa 7 Floor lvl 9 .
Challenge? Well you want chalenge ? Beat Qira without armor then
. If you will put random endermans with dern in name it doesnt make them special.... If you want to make new ToA or QH do it but please dont make this stupid 420 lvl area nearly 20 lvl exp farms....

 

They're called level 100s, but they really aren't. If there was a level 100 mob, it would be weaker than Qira. You know why? Because Qira's a boss. Chances are, the mob would be buffed or nerfed to make it an appropriate level. Think about it this way. As a level 25, you're often able to defeat the common level 30 monsters. Going by that logic, it shouldn't be too hard for a level 95 to defeat a level 100. The only reason Qira, Amadel, and Death are hard, is because they're bosses. Bosses will always be more challenging to beat than the average mob at their level.
