Problems With Items

I have a few problems with items. as an archer playing on your server, i recently found an item called glacial crest. as a bow, it is incredibly sufficient and stat-heavy, but i recently found out that the bow slowly attacks my health as i hold it, which is annoying. after reading the description of the item, i found out that it is supposedly lowering my temperature as i use it, which is neat, but also not very fun. so i have a solution! the defense stat also is how much fire damage i do, so i think that increasing my defense, and therefore my fire, would make it take longer to sap my strength, and once it hits a certain number, doesn't effect my character at all. this would give me a goal to work for while using the bow, and also a way to keep the bow's neat effects in action but also dismiss anything in the item diminishing how much fun i can have on the servers.

 

Theres supposed to be pros and cons to good weapons(not all of them have it tho). Try to get a maelstrom

 

I'm not sure if defense protects from internal weapon damage like that. If you're not very comfortable with it, keep a backup bow with you.
