multihit itself does not deal a lot damage itself already, i mean it is 350% damage, which can be really easily achieved by a super fast attack speed weapon within a second using pure basic attacks. Not to mention the fatality multihit gives does a really far knockback, and force itself move the enemy even further, making you hard to do follow up combo, also giving them opportunity to Heal (as a mob) or use movement spell to escape (as a player)

so the overall DoT for multihit SUCKS as you are not allowed to do smooth combos which is what assassins should be doing. well ofc. DoT wouldnt matter if dps is good right? YES but the dps isnt that good enough to ALMOST one shot the enemy, if you cant one shot the enemy, that means the enemy has the chance of escaping or healing.

and here you said it too, vanish does need a buff. that is what we assassins are looking for. only that and nothing else (most likely)

btw @AlchabenKaker you should change your pole from "Okey you are right assasin doesnt need Buff :)" to "Okey you are right assasin doesnt need damage Buff :)" and i would accept that. Yes indeed assassin doesnt need damage buff AT ALL. all he need is gameplay buff (vanish, high knockback, bad CC etc.)

I wasn't directing it towards the assassins who only want a vanish buff, it makes sense and I'm one of them. But the ones I'm talking about are the ones who want everything buffed. The ones who write walls of text to explain why every spell "is terrible." Vanish does need a buff (I mean, assassins are sneaky, so why cant we use our vanish to actually be sneaky instead of "escaping") but Spin Attack doesn't need one, and Smoke Bomb sure as hell doesn't need one. I've seen several posts like these, not going to throw names out, but they are definitely around.

yep. I agree. multihit shouldn't have the ridiculous kb it has, as the only way to get a fallow up hit with it is to throw people into a wall or house, which is really hard to do in the nether. IT should have some knockback, but not to it's current extent.

 

You're pretty much saying 90% of assassin players are shit. And somehow, all the 'good' players use mage/archer. *Total coincidence*

 

It means that assasins dont understand 1 thing. Before gavel they were totally godlike (like mage now cuz of healing) and now they are normal class with 1 not the best spell (vanish) 90% of assasins think they must be like before gavel so......

I haven't seen many assassins believe they should be as OP as they were before. Most just want a balance. The spells are just a bit unbalanced, like multihit doing a lot less damage than smoke bomb even when it's a melee class, vanish is useless and smoke bomb is a bit too op.

td;lr - fix vanish, buff multihit, nerf smoke bomb.

Maybe i have no right about assasins (cuz my highest assasin was 17 lvl) but it seems (on videos for example) unbalanced spells doesnt matter in fights.......

 

I have no clue how you got to there. All good players are archer/mage? I was just saying how assassin is one of the two classes to do that, which is good. And in no way did I say 90%. If you read you would see that I support buffing vanish, just not every spell needs a buff. "Those assassins" are a minority. So just read before you hate for no reason ;)
Archer is my least favorite class anyways.

No, it really doesn't tbh, it's fine the way it is.

 

You are forgetting the 400% boost to each hit that using a Super Fast weapon provides. You are actually dealing closer to 1200-1400% damage(but with the Super Fast's low, low base damage, it's balanced unlike before 1.1.4[also I forget if Multihits inflicts 20% damage or 25% damage per hit now, hence the range]). And again, I have stated this before, that experienced Assassins can bounce enemies essentially wherever they want with Multihits, including around to in front of them. You certainly can utilize smooth combos, you just need to learn the moves. For instance, Spin Attack has a misleadingly high stun-range which is actually farther than its damage range. You can use this to your advantage to catch enemies off-guard. If you keep good track of where your Smoke Bombs landed and learn the radius of the move, you can fake out enemies and corral them into your attacks, make them panic and back up into the smoke, etc. If you enemy escapes and uses Heal, they'll most likely be down a significant portion of their mana(even 100 intel will not reduce Teleport's mana cost below 2; they would need closer to 140) which means you can pursue with impunity and get off more hits with that oft-forgotten basic attack. You do not need to kill enemies with a single hit since you have other options available. If you want to OHKO, try using an Earth-based build.

Salted does not seem keen on reducing Vanish's mana drain, so complaining about that most likely will not help, but the other issues are nonexistant. You just need to learn the class better.

Read above. An Assassin did the trick in a duel where he throws you back near to himself via Multihits' knockback...with a Crossroad Killer. A Super Slow weapon, the one with massive innate knockback which would make Multihits' "ridiculous" knockback even "worse".
