    Currently AMAs are against the rules unless you get permissions from a moderator. I want to change that, so I have a simple suggestion.

    Add a specific forum section for AMAs, with these properties:
    Posts in the AMA section do not count towards your total posts
    Likes in the AMA section do not count towards your total likes
    Perhaps only people who have been forum members for a certain time (100+ days) can make AMAs?

    Given that AMAs already need moderator approval, they're just too rare to warrant a whole section. I doubt that many people are interested in doing them anyways. There'd probably be a new thread there once every month, at best.
