Before you complain that macros are non-legit, I believe the rules mention that it is ok for macros to perform spells, executable as a single series (RLR) as long as the macro is not on "auto repeatible" cycles or on an auto constant spam. Please don't hijack the thread on a discussion as to whether macro spells are allowed or not.. Post that elsewhere in "questions" .. Thanks..

    So here is my problem...

I finally had time to sit down and try to figure out the gaming mouse Logitech G602. It has these 6 programmable buttons on the left side. I thought it would be fun to make spell macros - just to try. Well... I didnt get far. With their Logitech Gaming Software installed, on my MACBOOK AIR, i tried to set up a profile in the software. Not sure if i picked the correct link to the Minecraft app file in my hardrive (i found minecraft.app in my macbook's "downloads" folder. Tinkered with the software but no avail.

So I called Logitech. The Logitech rep got me as far as the Program Editor where you can choose "Multi Key" option -> Mouse Event -> Right Button, Left Button etc --> Down, Up, Click. But here is where the rep doesnt know why (when i choose "click") that the event is notated as (if I choose "Right button" and then "click") Right Button Up, (and then next line below this) Right Button Down. ( after the call to Logitech, I did open up Wynncraft and tested the programmed G button to see if Warrior's Bash RLR, but nothing. So I'm missing steps.

The rep got sidetracked and advised finding the correct Minecraft gaming software file to be "linked" into the logitech gaming software "profile" settings, and she said that the spell commands might pop up as options (idk, this part sounds like BS to me). I asked for a gaming expert among their staff but rep claims they are all familiar with othr RPG games to be able to program keystrokes and certain keyboard buttons into macros. So im not angry at that response because idk what is the right approach. I dk enough with this techware.

I hope someone in the forums community can advise me ... someone who understands macbook, has a logitech gaming mouse (fairly recent model or as close to the G602 model as possible) and has dabbled with programming wynn spells on their Logitech gaming mouse.

Can anyone shed some light? .. Please... Help...

Shouldn't a click be down before up? Not sure how Macbook handles macros though, I'm using Steelseries.

I dont think its macbook choosing the way it shows up on the Logitech Gaming Software editor. It looks like the editor set it up that way.. Up and the Down.

Which Steelseries model is it that you're using?

First, at least on a PC, in the "Games and apps that use this profile:", you want to set it to detect "javaw.exe", and, for good measure, "javaws.exe". Remember, MC runs on a Java platform. It's not obvious to look for Java instead of minecraft.exe; it took my son a couple of hours to get his running after he bought his G300, two years before I bought my G300s.

Second, the pattern for the "Multi Key" keystrokes is: button down, button up, short delay (0.2sec), button down, button up, short delay, button down, button up. The delay can be decreased even lower; it all depends on YOUR system and connection speed. You will have to try it in order to know what to do with the delay time.

Third, the software does NOT detect mouse input to start, so you must hit any key to start macro recording. After your macro is recorded, you delete whatever key you used to start the macro.

Fourth: Why didn't you just tag me when you needed help with the Logitech software, eh?

Fifth: Congratulations! I believe that you're going to enjoy that mouse for years to come.

Sixth: Before I forget, macros are now specifically legit, as long as they are not on a loop. Meaning, we can have key and mouse macros, as long as each macro requires either a keystroke or a mouse click to run. WynnCraft Macro: set of keystrokes and/or mouse clicks that runs a specific action ONCE. So, it's OK to set a macro for "Heal", as long as "Heal" only occurs ONCE when the macro is used.
