New Donator Classes

So I have been thinking about how there are some donators that buy a rank to use the classes, but they don't use them because the have to level them up all over again. This is the solution that I have come up with. Instead of starting a new class, just make it so they can reskin the class they already have. This will allow wynncraft to come up with seasonal reskins for classes. For example, wynncraft could make an archer reskin that is called cupid and contains lots of heart particals or a Christmas one called ginger bread man. Wynncraft could have these as monthly rewards for vip or new donations for the server that are limited time. Edit: People without ranks can buy the reskins. Another great idea to go with this was Ande's idea to add custom skins with the reskinned classes as well. When you use a reskinned class you can toggle that off or on.

 

Nvm, I'm dumb, I saw the title, and thought you wanted another assassin situation, where assassin was VIP only.

I like the idea, but I don't like the idea of VIP only.

I think a way to make more people donate is to make it so you can donate for the reskins without VIP. Basically:

If you don't have VIP, you could go to the donations page and there will be a new tab called "Class Skins".

You can buy Seasonal skins or class skins. If you get VIP, you automatically get a choice of 1 free class skin, using /reskin ingame.

Do you think this is possible: you buy or have VIP(+) > you log in with a random class, a archer for example > when you are in your chosen serverworld you get a skin. (I had a idea about making unique wynnskins, inspired by the pictures of the classes you see at: https://wynncraft.com/help ,then "Classes".) So if you are VIP or if you would have bought the skins you log in with a class and get the skin corresponding with the class you are playing with at that moment.
There will always be ppl who dont want autoskins, they can do: /toggle skin ,or something like that.
What do you think of that:3 ?

In all seriousness, this is pretty cool! Kind of reminds of of PvZ2 with all of the plant costumes to be honest.

 

Very interesting, I did wish this was the case because players would play before donating, and restarting on a class can be difficult to do after getting so far on another (or at least to me).

I hope this is considered by the staff, but I think the reason why the reskins are the way they are is so players will continue to play.

EDIT: maybe the donor ranks get the holiday themed classes and non-donors get the current reskins for X amount of LE or something

 

This idea sounds amazing... But only as long as I can go around as a pink Ninja

 

I want a dark wizard so bad but I dont want to lvl it up again, I would like this feature

No, I think he intends to completely destroy Ninja as a class and make ,/reskin be the new way to get it. So that you can swap between the two at ease.

 

It would be different classes, they are the same class, but they can be textured differently when you choose to use the resigned class. They would be in the cosemetics menu

Yes. You would be able to change the class to the cosmetic class if you have it. That way you don't have to reset to use your cosmetics. This would also allow wynncraft to make more cosmetic classes, such as holiday ones.

Exactly. It would be less confusing for new players as well. However this would still keep the stats you had on your old ninja, it would just be an assassin instead and you could change the cosmetic appearance of it when ever you want.
