Server Idea (kinda Like Wynncraft)

I wasn't sure where to put this suggestion, but a lot of random stuff goes in this section, and this gets viewed the most =P.

Anyway, I was at a taekwondo tournament/test (yay, I got my 1st degree black belt!) yesterday, and I started thinking about this idea. You could have a map with a couple cities in it, and some other geographical features. There would be quests, or something like that, similar to Wynncraft. What would be different is that once you have enough training (experience) to level up, you head to a big building in the main city. This is the martial arts school, and you do some sort of test to get your next belt (level). It may be fighting, it may be parkour, it may be a puzzle, who knows. There is a belt for every color of wool, and also a high belt for everything as well. (white, high white, yellow, high yellow, orange, high orange, etc.) This would make 31 total belts, where black is the last. Each new belt requires more experience and skill. Examples of these quests might include stopping smugglers, or fighting some other bad guys, or just helping a citizen with something they need.

Congrats on the belt! If it's anything like my school then only a few years until 2nd degree.
It seems interesting, but could be slightly complex to implement. Kind of reminds me of Fallout NV when random citizens teach you unarmed techniques.

Good job on 1st degree! My instructor actually told me when I got my black belt that it was just the beginning. :D
I support, though it may need changing, as this is more medieval times and Korea really isn't associated anywhere in Wynn.
Unless this is an idea for another server, it sounds cool !

I like the idea, and I made a quest system in vanilla using command blocks. I will probably make a video about it soon too.

 

Thanks - and quests with command blocks? That sounds great! (I was planning on doing something like that too, but I kinda suck at commands =P)

 

Yea, it knows if you are standing near the villager and if you right clicked it, and if you are, then it starts the dialogue. You need to right click on the villager to advance to the next line of text, and you can also make it so it knows if you have an item or not.

 

Please don't keep that mindset. There's clearly a section labeled,"General Suggestions". No matter how many views you might get here, if you really want your suggestion to be taken into consideration, place it where the admins can see it, right here:



Other than that, nice suggestion, except this isn't a suggestion for Wynncraft, but more of a mini game such as Wizards Fortress, so it may not turn out well.

Seems a bit iffy to me but i suppose since every idea starts out small it could be great! Id definitele play it
