    Spells:
    1: Mine:
    Spell cost: 8 mana
    Set a mine that arms after 5 seconds, then deals damage to anyone in a 5 block radius when an enemy steps on it
    175% neutral damage, 350% fire damage
    Upgrade 1: Instant Arming:
    The mine arms instantly, but deals less damage
    100% neutral damage, 150% fire damage
    Upgrade 2: Multiply:
    Every five seconds after arming, the original mine will spit out another mine within a 20 block radius. It will do this five times, then explode. The cloned mines will deal less damage
    Original mine:
    100% neutral damage, 225% fire damage
    Clones: 50% neutral damage, 75% fire damage
    2: Launch:
    Spell cost: 4 mana
    Set a pad that lasts for 10 seconds. This pad will launch any players that step on it foward for 10 blocks and up 3. Maximum of 4 pads at a time.
    Upgrade 1: Unstable:
    The pads explode before disappearing
    75% neutral damage, knockback to all enemies in a 3 block radius
    Upgrade 2: Remote Detonation:
    The Launch pads can be remotely detonated by crouching
    Spell 3: Tesla
    Spell cost: 10 mana
    Place down 4 tesla towers around you. The towers zap the closest enemy, and last for 30 seconds. Maximum range 24 blocks
    (The turrets are shulkers, cuz whynot)(they could also be armor stands)
    Electric damage: 250%
    Upgrade 1: Conductor:
    Electricity arcs between all four towers, electrocuting any enemy that walks between two of the towers
    Electric damage: 250%
    Upgrade 2: Superconductor:
    The electricity arcs between zombies, dealing damage to any enemy within 5 blocks if the original target
    Electric damage: 200%
    Spell 4: Antigravity Bomb:
    Spell cost: 10 mana
    Throw a bomb that deals light damage and gives hit enemies levitation II (I think levitation has tiers, not sure) for 5 seconds
    Neutral damage 10%, water damage 65%
    Upgrade 1: Target:
    Any enemies hit take 50% more damage from all forms of damage while lifted
    neutral damage 15%, water damage 25%, air damage 50%
    Upgrade 2: Disable:
    All enemies hit gain slowness III for 5 seconds
    Neutral damage 20%, water damage 20%, air damage 60%

    Yep. It'll be a while before wynn updates, and even then it won't use much in the update

    Since this class seems to be using mechanics and gadgets to its advantage, and not that much science, why not rename it Engineer or Mechanic?

    I think that with the upcoming soldiar class there should be another non-melee class, you might want to have one early spell that deals direct damage, though.

    So this means this class is going to be added?

    Not necessarily. Even if the suggestion gets the support necessary to be noticed by the members of the GM team(I am specifically not mentioning it to them because I want it to be noticed on its own merits) there is no guarantee it will be added.

    And yes, none of those names really fit in with the class's style or with the other class names.

    Exactly, Turtlebomb is taking it that a suggestion made by a GM is automatically going to be implemented. There is no basis in fact for that, as classes take a tremendous amount of coding, and most class suggestions get shot down pretty hard as they are poorly made. Selvut's on the other hand, started off with a lot of thought and has pretty thoroughly hashed out. Still, as you quoted, even Selvut has said that there is no guarantee that it will be added. Hence, he is jumping to an unsupported conclusion.

    I really like the idea, but I feel as if it's rather underpowered in terms of spells. I have a few ideas how this could be changed, however:
    Spell 1: Mine:
    Criticisms:
    This seems like a very hard spell to use when you're just starting out. Compared to the other spells, Bash, Arrow Storm, Spin Attack and Heal*, it seems rather low in terms of damage. As well as that, it takes 10 seconds to arm, meaning you'll need to be camping out before your enemy gets to you; in the heat of battle, this will be completely useless.

    *I know heal doesn't deal damage, but it is insanely useful as it's essentially a free health potion.
    Possible Improvements:
    Spell 1: Spike Ball:
    Throws a large spike ball on the ground in front of the player. Any mob that walks over this will take damage. (75% Neutral Damage)
    Spike Ball Grade 2: Explosives:
    After being on the ground for 5 seconds, the spike ball will become armed to explode. Either when a mob steps on it or 5 seconds after arming, it will explode, dealing large damage to enemies. (75% Neutral Damage, 20% Earth Damage on touch, 100% Neutral Damage, 50% Fire Damage on explosion).
    Spike Ball Grade 3: Cluster Bomb:
    After exploding, the spike ball will split into 5 smaller spike balls, dealing half the damage of the normal spike ball. (37.5% Neutral damage on touch, 50% Neutral Damage, 25% Fire Damage on explosion.)

    Spell 2: Launch:
    Criticisms:
    While this spell seems very useful, it lacks any sort of upward travel and its second upgrade seems rather detrimental.

    Possible Improvements:
    Spell 2: Launch:
    No changes for the first one.
    Launch Grade 2: Bounce Pad:
    The launch pad now launches the player forward 12 blocks and up 3 blocks. Any mobs the player collides whilst launched will take 25% Air Damage.
    Launch Grade 3: Self Destruct:
    After 10 seconds, the launch pad will explode, dealing 75% Air Damage and 25% Neutral damage to mobs around it. The player is launched 15 Blocks and up 4 blocks, and gains Speed 3 and Jump Boost 2 for 5 seconds after stepping on it.

    These are just a few ideas of how you could improve your first two spells, the second two however seem fine.
