New Class Idea: Cryromancer/void Sorcerer

I know what you must be thinking'' ya this is useless'' but wait we haven't really had a class that you actually have to THINK to play him or to toy with you enemy's,let me explain.


STATS
Strength: 4/5
Defence: 1/5
Range: 3/5
Spells: 4/5
Weapon type: Gaunlets
Basic attack: throws a blue-ish purple-ish orb that deals damage to your enemy

Spells:

Frost Bite
Left-Left-Right
Throws an ice chard at his enemy's and does some damage but it is better used with a group of enemy's because of its after shock.

effects:
on in pack it breaks dealing a bit more damage
+ Ensnaring Ice: As soon as an enemy steps on your frozen ground, tendrils of frost lash around their feet, preventing them from jumping


Tier 1 -4 hunger 20% weapon Thunder/water damage
Tier 2 -3.5 hunger 30% weapon Thunder/water damage give slowness 1 for 5 seconds Tier 3 -3 hunger 40% weapon Thunder/water damage give slowness 2 for 5 seconds and gives for 10 seconds.

Portal
Left-left-left
when in doubt teleport away.
throws a portal on the ground then teleport on behind your enemy's, if there are more then 10 blocks away you just teleport close to your enemy's
if there is no enemy's you just jump in the portal you will just teleport somewhere 10 or less blocks away.BTW its made to be disorienting.


Tier 1 -3 hunger you can only teleport 10 or less
Tier 2 -2.5 hunger you can teleport 20 or less
Tier 3 -2 hunger you can teleport 25 or less

Blizzard
Left-right-left
Release a freezing breath that again is mostly should be used for groups of enemy's but pushes all enemy's in a on group but watch out use it carfully because you might not want to fight 50 enemy's at once.

Effects:
Slowness
+bolts opponents,you may think hey this is SO STRONG but the damage you do to that enemy's does less damage and the enemy gets a strength,you also may be thinking well why would we do this spell if you give strength to are enemy's well its only fair.


Tier 1 10% weapon water/air damage
Tier 2 20 % weapon water/air damage slowness 1 for 10 seconds
Tier 3 30% weapon water/air damage slowness 2 for 10 seconds and weakness 1 for 10 seconds



Vortex
Right-Left-right
Unleash the void with a swip of your Gaunlets and all control you have over it!

Create a black hole to devour your enemy's

Effects:
Slowness

Before I say what have to say about this ability I have to say as long as the Vortex is down you are given weakness 1 and each 2 seconds your mana is drained by -1 but you can simply take away this affect by doing Right-left-Right,also you can only place one at a time.


Tier 1 -3 hunger,+0.5% slowness and weakness every second ,stacking up to 20% but remeber
every second you get -1 hunger/mana and you have weakness 1 for as long as the black hole is down and the effect becomes more worst over time.

Tier 2 -2.5 hunger ,+1.5% slowness and weakness is given,stacking up to 30% with this tier you lose mana every second long as its down,the only real add on is it starts sucking enemy's up from other places (10 blocks away or less)
+ Intensifying drain: increases the amount of weakness and slowness you receive while in the vortex by 1.5% per second an entity is inside it.

Tier 3 -2 hunger,+2% slowness and weakness is given your enemy's,stacking up to 30% ,the add IS when the Vortex is almost over it explodes dealing some damage,also you still lose man every second but instead of every second its +2%.
+ Life Leech: turn 25% of the damage you deal into healing for yourself

before I end this please no mean comments,ONLY UNLOCK AT LEVEL 60,most of the stronger ability's have an actually cool down.THE END.OH YA credit to Ethan_Wachington for helping me with the ability's idea's and balancing.

 

Sounds like a Mage ripoff

 

This is a neat idea, except for the portal and black hole. Portal could be potentially disorienting, and the black hole is too op, even if you say its not. I mean, c'mon. You're basically freezing your enemies in one place, and you're free to attack them. And 10 seconds? Hoo boy, I hope this class is
VIP + + + + + + or something. Ice Shard and Tundra are practically the same thing, except for the elements.

But other than that, great idea! I like that style of thinking.

 

Does the weakness stack? if it does that seems really op to have like 3 different weakness effects on you at the same time

Also if you can pull people into a black hole and slow them, then wouldn't high dmg spells like a good meteor wreck absolute havoc?

 

No the weakness does not stack and also this class is made to get enemy's in a group

 

What if you had a lot of mana regen and a lot of intelligence to reduce the cost of black hole so you could infinitely trap something inside your black hole?
(Like Bob and his swords)

 

The Mage really kind of fills in this spot. You can't just spam your strongest spell; It's one of the only classes that uses spell chains incredibly effectively.

 

Some general guidelines:

• First spell is always Left-Right-Left or Right-Left-Right.
• How would Black Hole even work?

From what I now understand, it is basically a field of slowness and weakness which slowly amplifies the longer you are in range? Seems like a neat idea but you might want to consider the range of slowness/weakness (like every second you are in the black hole you receive +2% weakness and slowness, stacking up to 40% slowness and weakness for a 10 second black hole). Perhaps call it vortex?

I don't see how Earth damage is involved with ice and how ice is involved with void magic

The spells are:

Umm... How do you use the basic attack?

 

what do you mean?

 

For example:

Warrior has spells
Right-Left-Right
Right-Right-Right
Right-Left-Left
and Right-Right-Left

Clicking Left individually will activate the basic attack.

Now, in your class, you are using the button for the basic attack as a spell button. Sadly, you can't have both right and left click as spell buttons, otherwise you will not be able to perform a basic attack. And, every class needs a basic attack.
