World Wynncraft 1.9!

Hey guys! Let's get straight into it, now that Minecraft verision 1.9 is out, i was thinking some new awesome features for wynncraft. They could use sheilds, the different potion arrows and elytras for some fun stuff.
First, Sheilds could get added, and have them to protect you. Different sheilds should have different models, such as armor and weapons.
Second, Elytras could have a model change with the texture pack into hang gliders, and they would be obtainable by either trading or a quest, like horses.
Third, the new potion arrows could be used in the archer class, and the game would have an arrow system. You could have a quiver, and select the type of arrow you wanted. The different arrows could be obtained by trading, and you started off with maybe speed 1 arrows. As you leveled up your player you could get better and better arrows.
Fourth, I personally think you should get a little bit stronger overall, because of the attack delay in 1.9.
Fifth, the new Frost Walker enchant should be a powder that you could enchant your boots with.
Sixth, dual-weilding. You should have special items to have in your off-hand, like power gems. The power gems would be collected by killing monsters, and when having them in your off-hand would give you powers, like if you had a "Mana gem" in your off-hand, you would regen mana faster. Here's a list of power gems i could come up with:

• Mana gem - Regen mana faster
• Strength gem - Get stronger
• Health gem - Get more health
• Regeneration gem - Regenerate your health faster
• Water breathing gem - Breathe longer underwater
• Fire gem - Gets rid of the fire if you're on fire
• Fall gem - Not as much fall damage

I know, but i just wanted to say this

 

1. These potion-tipped arrows would give the archer massive advantages that no one else has
2. I don't think frost walker works in adventure mode
3. Enchantments have change anyway
4. 1.9 was literally just released, it was a year before Wynncraft even got to 1.8. So... It's gonna be a long time coming, especially long because there are so many new things that they most likely aren't going to use.

 

Well... Wynn was updated to 1.8 when Gavel came out, soo for 1.9 to be added to wynn we would have Fruma/ Dern by then.

Plus the frost walker boots are going to be a problem, Many players would use them all the time causing the server to lag.

And also half of the stuff from 1.9 won't be added to wynn like 1.8, there are no bunnies or gaurdians, nor have we any 1.8 enchantments so chill, enchantments and all that other stuff from 1.9 won't be in wynn, alot I do like the gem ideas, only that...

Mana gem: Same as mana potions

Health Gem: Same as Items and accessories that give you health

Regen Gem: Same as Regen potions

Strength gem : Same as strength potion

Water breathing gem : Same as the water breathing helmet

Fire gem: Same as any weapon or accessories with fire boost

Fall gem: Same when archer floats gentle to the ground after doing escape spell.

So most the gem's abilities already exsist in the game.

 

Give it time Wynn will eventually go 1.9 but the major additions are probably not gonna be used

 

The gems... Yeah, you're kinda right, but here's why the gems are better:

• Mana gem: you would save inventory space
• Health gem: you can use other accessories
• Regen gem: you can save inventory space
• Strength gem: you can save inventory space
• Water breathing gem: you don't need to use a bad leather lv.8 cap
• Fall gem: but then only the archer can have that

 

Hm quite true.

 

I think the Warrior should get the shield from the 1.9 updated because it's just like it was made for that...

 

Wynncraft only recently updated to 1.8, I doubt they will update to 1.9 this fast.

 

It's already got like 130% Defense, if it got a shield it'd be nigh immortal.

 

How would the shield work when right click is used for spells?

 

Oh yeah, most Elytra threads have really sucky things, like "400 LE for elytra when I can walk 500 blocks already in 2 minutes, but who cares let's waste 400 LE on something to make me do it in 1 minute!" But I like the "Hang glider" idea. They'd have to put tons of restrictions on it though, to make it not so OP.

 

Yea but do you really think the Shield fits with a Archer Assassin or Mage? :P

 

Or shields could come with a separate class, maybe beserker? so you have axe and shield. Idk just idea from top of my head. Dual wielding would be good for another class as well.

 

the thing is that the second hand activates if the off hand item has a right click item when the main hand item doesn't have one. if your main hand item has uses for both clicks you wont be able to use it for spells or use your off hand item. if your main item has only a left click function you wont be able to use it for spells as the right click will trigger the off hand item (if it has a right click function).if your main item has only a left click function you will be able to cast spells but you wont be able to use your off hand item (if it doesn't have a right click function).if your main item has a right click function you will be able to cast spells but wont be able to use a off hand item. what can happen is because we are using blocks as weapons now we have the possibility for 8 spells (rrr rrl rlr rll lll llr lrl lrr) so we can use the 4 extra options for the off hand spells (they will still be triggered through the main hand item tho), so we can have a secondary weapon for each class.
