This topic is kind of weird. So the basic Idea is this: there are five types, as well as normal weather, of 'weather' that boosts elements:
    Rain, boosts water
    Thunderstorms, boosts electricity
    Drought, boosts fire
    Windy, boosts air
Hail (credit goes to ajdude9), boosts earth
    Normal weather, no boosts
The weather would be randomly chosen whenever a server restarts, and it would tell you the weather whenever you log onto a server (for example, i log on to wynncraft server 3 as my assassin, and it would send me a message saying, "today is a rainy day." Then I go to server 5 and it would be normal weather there.) the chance of normal weather occuring is 50% and the chance of any other weather occuring is 10% for each weather condition. On rainy days, it would... Well, rain. The same goes for thunderstorms. During a drought, smoke particles would appear in the air relatively often, and during windy days whitish-blue potion effects (the particles that emanate off of you after drinking a speed potion) would appear in the air.

The windy weathers particals would lag the entire server due to the system we have now

There is a reason why this would not work.

    Here's a single example

    Blazes

Blazes spawn around the roots of corruption

Blazes get hurt in the rain

Blazes die before you can get to them

Oh you need 64 blaze powder for ToL?

I'm sorry, but today is a rainy day

    Do you see the problem?

It's a slight boost, only around 10% or something. Besides, it's not different classes, it's more like diiferent builds get buffs at certain times of the day

    How so?

That's just one example. There are several places where this could cause a problem. Take nessak for example.

The snow golems take damage from the rain as well. Your not gonna turn the tundra into a desert, are you?

I don't have to. The devs already solved this, seeing as how snow golems don't take damage in the river when they should in vanilla minecraft

Another problem is the barriers. These cover the topmost parts of the world to prevent players from getting out, so there'd be random patches without rain.

If you wanted something for Earth, Hail could be an option.

Yeah, the barriers could be a problem. I would suggest the old way but that's laggy af. Also wouldn't hail be ice? Though snow could also be ice...

Well, I was thinking Earthquake but that's not really "Weather". Hail is essentially giant balls of ice slamming down. If big enough, they can cause serious damage, so Wynaut Earth?

I am pretty sure Wynncraft is modifying Pathfinder-goals, and Blazes are now immune to rain.

True. I considered earthquake first (seeing as I live in earthquake county) but yeah, it isn't so much weather as natural disaster:P. It's like having tornado for air and global warming as dry.

Sorry to *rain* on your parade, but the blazes you see are simply a facade. I'm sure it's easy to tell their AI is akin to that of a skeleton's...
Then, of course, top this with the valid answers given by your fellow players :P

It would not fair because if a certain damage is boosted other players with other elements would not get a boost so you can easily see how unfair this will be to other players yes indeed this could be good but still its to unfair.

I think what he's trying to say is that there isn't physical rain (or any weather), but rather particles scattered here and there, or none at all (I never use particles unless a quest requires it, anyway. Less lag :D), therefor no mob issues, even though they fixed the coding to make them immune.
It's elements, not classes, so unless your build has none of X element then it should be fine.

Well, not exactly. particles would be scattered around during a drought or a windy day, during a rainy day or a stormy day the certain barriers on the top of the map would be replaced with snow blocks (to darken the sky and give the effect of having blocked out the sun) and water particles would bounce off the ground (basically, think of rain with particles on max, then take out the loud rain and falling raindrops). During thunderstorms, lighting would flash in the distance. Its not particles scattered here and there, and it does require both command blocks and changing the map layout. Or it could just be normal rain, seeing as both blazes and snow golem mobs are able to swim and touch water.
