World Provide Xp Upon The Opening Of Chest.

    What I suggest is that XP should be given when opening loot chest. The XP should be given as a percentage of the players XP. For example: at 50% XP *finds tier 2 chest* now at 52% XP. The XP gained in these chest stay absolute, as they are not effected by any XP boosting items, XP bombs or XP boosting events. The value's of the XP given is listed here:
    ==================================================================
    Tier I: 1-2%
    Tier II: 2-3%
    Tier III:3-4%
    Tier IV:4-5%

    EDIT: If this is a previously stated suggestion please do tell me.
    EDIT EDIT: If you have voted "needs a more detailed explanation" please do digress and tell me what factors I am not including. I encourage well thought out criticisms.

    the idea is amazing, this can change the look for lvling up when its hard and no quests available/no grinding places for xp

    I think it is balanced since there is already a system that prevents loot chest grinding.

    Maybe not as much as you wrote (a free % boost in XP is rather OP), but I like the idea.

    No there isn't, that's just for server switches
    You can open multiple loot chests one after another on the same server, and if I run through all the loot chests in an area (say on my way from rodoroc to ice caves) I can probably level up 1 level just from that, and get a legendary or something.
    Plus, loot chest are for loot, not xp

    The concept is not bad, but it's a bit too OP and can be easily abused, there is a loot chest route I use quite often that goes from Eltom to Molten Heights that contains 5 Loot chest III's, and 1 tier IV loot chest, which means I would get 19%-25% of my XP bar filled with XP, come back an hour later, and do it again, I would be able to get from level 88-100 in around 2 days.

    What I'd suggest is to lower the amount of XP you get when opening a loot chest, and add diminishing returns to your loot chest xp system.

    If the player has a very large XP gauge to fill, like at level 99, it's rather overpowered for a single loot chest to grant a fixed percentage of your gauge. One percentage is already a compound load of grind at these higher levels. Furthermore, it also grants loot as well as this XP feature, like loot chest grinding will be the new way to level up. This is going to break the mob grinding part of Wynncraft, despite that it is boring and I can agree. Just think about this one player on this one server going through a whole city, always having a loot chest within a 64 radius of the player, that's going to make endgame too easy, and that would make Wynncraft vastly less difficult :P (And also makes missions pretty much nothing at all)

    However, I do like the concept, to decrease its "overpowered-ness", it would be best to really decrease the % gain of XP from opening a loot chest. It's fair to say about just 1% for a Loot Chest IV, if you think about the quantity of Loot Chest IVs within the world at the moment, and knowing that endgame is supposed to be difficult. Or simply make the XP gain a fixed value in proportionate to your level or something. Just throwing in ideas.

    EDIT - Again, I like your idea, just overpowered given those percentages ^_^

    I see, how about instead of basing the XP percent of the chest off the required XP needed for a player to level up, you would base the XP percent off of the amount of XP the player currently has?
    i.e. *Player currently has 100XP points*
    *player finds Tier 1 chest*
    *player now has 102XP*
    ________________________________
    That's another thing. I never really considered grinding to be a good substitute for game-play in most games especially in games such as WynnCraft where the grinding can get really heavy really quick.
    EDIT- I love the server, this is just a pet peeve I have with games.

    Look people I know this may seem OP but that is why I brought this to the fourms, so that people can collaborate on how to make this idea balanced and hopefully catch the eye of any staff that can make these changes possible. And about the OP part I think i found a way to make it less OP. Increase the XP percentages BUT! Instead of having the percentage based off the XP needed to level up, Have the percentage based on the XP the the player currently has. If that were the case would it be OP then?

    You should make the xp reward a scaled fixed increase. For example
    Lvl 20
    Tier 1- 10 xp
    Tier 2- 15
    Tier 3- 20
    Tier 4-25

    Lvl 90
    Tier 1- 150
    Tier 2-200
    Tier 3- 250
    Tier 4-300

    Not only should the xp gain scale on level, but also on the scale of loot chest (relative to your level):
    Opening loot chests near ragni should not have the same effect as looting ice caves chests, just like the loot pools are different
