Grapling Gun?!

Hello world! Today I have a new suggestion (go away haters, dont wantchu)! I thought to myself, hmm horses are kind of boring... there fast, but thre hard to get.... so why not a grappling hook! It wouldnt be like futurtistic or anything, it would be a spell for all classes

Teir One: lvl. 33
Allows you to grapple 10 blocks in any direction.

Teir Two: lvl 45
Allows you to grapple 20 blocks in any direction.

Teir Three: lvl 56
Allows you to grapple 40 blocks in any direction.

I am not sure on the combo of left or right or whatever yet, but its just a small suggestion, and it would be a new spell for ALL classes.

 

It wouldn't be possible because;

1. All possible click combos are taken
2. There is already a spell like this for Mage and Warrior. Archer and Assassin has Speed III.

 

for assassin its sorta meh, vanish isnt a travel spell

 

Yeah... that's right though. :P

 

1. Other spells would activate making the grapple gun useless.
2. Some classes (not all) have a travel spell already
   
3. People can grapple up blocks and exit the map or entering restricted places
4. We have horses and boats and airships we really don't need another form of transport

 

wait airships?? you can get airships?? how??

 

You first travel by airship in Flight in Distress quest. After completing the quest, you will get access to unlimited free travel from Detlas to Cinfras and vice versia, via the 2 airbases in both cities.

 

Ok lets see... there is a plugin called crackshot that makes Guns, it can make this,
This is possible. And easy to make sorta, this would be good for assasin

And you could probably make it so if you go too high up it disables it!

 

Sure. Even tho there is a barrier hight limit for a reason :P

 

Are we going to ignore the fact that this makes absolutely no sense according to the lore? Its a grappling gun, that isn't exactly medieval. Plus there's a reason assassin doesn't have a movement spell, its make up for the fact that it has four spells rather than three that are meant to do damage. The spells that need movement spells wouldn't need this, the only class that would use this is assassin, and that would make it way too powerful.

 

Vanish gives assassin speed, so even assassin has a movement spell. Plus, it makes you invisible at the same time, though consumes mana a lot.

And as for grappling hooks, they don't really fit the Wynncraft theme. What, we have robots, airships and electricity? They are all operated by magic. Grappling hooks? They aren't magical at all.

We also have lots of ways to travel: walking, spells, riding someone, riding your pet, boats, horses (these two are bad right now but they still count), airships, scrolls... seriously, there are so many ways of travel.

No classes have a travel spell. They are escape spells.

 

1. Why does everyone think Fruma is the Province of Technology? Ok, Wynncraft is getting more technology... but no, it is more likely to be magical, just like electricity and the Quartron (the robot). And besides, Ohms was a Golemancer, which implies that he used magic. Plus, he uses a wand, a MAGE weapon.
2. This wouldn't make sense at all, technology coming from Fruma. Gavel only opened its doors to Wynn, another human province, recently, so why would they already have contact with Fruma? Fruma is the home province of the humans, just like Wynn is also a province humans have come to rule over time.

 

This would be pretty cool to see on assassin.
