I don't ask for a lot. I simply ask for canceling the mana drain effect during vanish.

Then you can pretty much perma-vanish. Just decrease the cost and it'll be fine.

Yes, but after activating it you still probably have something like 17 mana left, and if mana doesn't run out, then that's still perma vanish

While I do agree that Vanish is nearly useless right now, since if you take fall damage it ends, I don't see a way out of the perma-vanish.

 

Simple. Don't go in.

 

The issue with stopping mana drain during Vanish is that it simply does not work the way you think it does.

All players are constantly under 'mana drain' because mana is hunger, and as the player never eats and is simply under a sort of pseudo-saturation effect, their hunger/mana is constantly draining and replenishing itself. Vanish halts this pseudo-saturation effect, allowing the natural drain to take its toll. Mana Regen identifications still work while Vanished, so if you want to alleviate the cost, find an item with Mana Regen.

It's easy the natural player Mana regen will be set to 0 and so if you want to Regenererate mana while doing vanish you need a weapon which sets the then "0" mana regen to don't know let's say "10" so the weapon modifiers the mana regen "skill"

See I was under the impression that all mana regen was halted by vanish. This isn't so bad then.

 

I am very confused. Before gavel when you vanished you just didn't regenerate your mana and it lasted for like 12 seconds. Now I lose all of my mana in around 5 or 6 seconds, then I unvanish! Am I doing something wrong? How can I fix???

 

to stop the perma vanish why don't you just put a timer on how long you can vanish?

 

Yeah that would be much better. It takes away too much mana right now.
