Garaheth As A New Dungeon/raid Boss Idea

    So i came up with this idea a few nights ago while i was extremely bored. The reason for eventually thinking of a new Boss mob for me was because not only me but several others have the feeling that fighting Boss mobs can be extremely repetitive and eventually gets boring. This idea clearly involves a repetitive fight aswell, however (in my opinion) one needs to adapt to this new Boss a lot. I tried to design it especially so that it wouldnt be possible to solo it. I hope you guys like this idea lol. (btw this is also my first thread here i think :o)


    The Dogun God Garaheth:

    General Information:

    · Raid rank boss

    · Resistant to all elements

    · 450k health

    · Has speed II

    · Each of its hits have a 50%chance to do an explosion as an AoE attack

    100%health:

    · It deals the same amount of melee damage as Qira deals damage

    · The most basic skill is Charge

    o 15sec cooldown​

    50%health:

    · Additionally to its melee damage it now can also attack with ranged attacks with Qira attack damage

    · New additional skill is quite similar to mages burning ground skill, however it is impossible to evade it once you are in its range.

    o 9block radius

    o Deals 70% of the its base damage

    o 45sec cooldown​

    · Breath of Fire

    o Attacks the player who built up the most aggro

    o Deals 150% of its base damage plus an explosion dealing 30% of the base damage to every player within 3blocks of the target

    o Gives blinding and night vision to every player that is hit for 5 seconds causing the screen to be completely black for this period of time

    o 40sec cooldown​

    30% health:

    · Damage increase by 15% of the base damage

    · New effect “exhaustion” causing the players mana to regen slower (possibly including the mana regen buffs that players get from weapons and armor)

    · Spawns 30 mobs

    o If one of those mobs is killed Garaheth regenerates 1% of its maximum health, regening 30% of the Dogun Gods maximum health if all 30mobs are killed.

    o 120sec cooldown​

    Mobs:

    · 2k health meaning they can easily get one hitted by accident

    · Each mob can deal 7% of Garaheths base damage.

    Problem is:
    1. You need to make the rest of the dungeon
    2. This kind of layout is difficult to understand, try a more compact one. I'd suggest my own style but... well.

    hummm kk XD should i actually build the dungeon? O.o cus that would take quite a bit of time XD or just a rough layout of the boss room? (btw thanks for you advice :D )

    I don't know if I like raids.. You have to do them with a min. of like 5 people. Kind of annoying that you can't solo the dungeons/raids.

    yeah i agree it can be a pain XD however if one person can solo it... then 5people can beat it easily and i think large scale group fights where actually a group is needed to fight the boss would give the game a whole new interesting dimension as teamwork and strategy is required.
