Website & Forums Add The 'no Like Bombing' Rule

Just recently I was warned for the fact that I 'like bombed' another forumer (which means giving someone an unnecessary amount of likes on their content). I've seen other people do this before (which I will not be giving names) and I thought that it was acceptable because others didn't seem to get in trouble when they did it.

So when I did it, I got warned for it. All I'm asking for is that it gets added to the set of rules on the forums. I probably wouldn't have done it if I knew it was an official rule...

Note: this thread exists not because I think I did nothing wrong, but because I think I shlould've at least known.

 

Isn't this already in the rules though?

Edit: Huh. Cant find it. I could've sworn that there was a rule that said "Don't give excessive likes to your friends" or something like that.

This is why I make sure if I want to get a person to a milestone on likes, I find content of theirs that I actually like... unless it's kalmy... then I like a lot of things of his... but I still make sure I actually like the content.

I like it, I would be better if the mods can ban the people who use it too much or too much for a single person.

I would like to point out that my likes were obtained absolutely without a fraction of a holy doubt legal and I with no doubt in my mind do not hold witch conventions in secret to gather likes

 

If I did, I would be up to me waist in trouble, probably.

 

First you get warnings, then you have a ban, if you do it too much times?

 

But burning people alive because they're unique is so much fun!

 

1 I'm also getting tired of "unspoken rules" if you want people to follow rules, WRITE THEM DOWN!!!
2 I feel like regulating likes violates people's freedoms, why do you care how many likes someone else gets anyways? That's what we call "jealousy" and it derives from "selfishness".
3 if you care about someone liking to many things SO much, just give everyone the ability to only like 5-10 things a day, this would make people value there likes more. (also you could have vip(+)s get the ability to like 15-20 things, if people don't like that then don't have it, just an idea.)

I agree with you, but I also think that all of the things you can get warning points for should be added to the official rules. For example, necroposting. Lots of people are unaware that something they did was not allowed and are given warning points from this, I'm sure that if they were added to the rules, there would be far less incidents like this. You can't expect people to follow a rule that has never been written down or not officially mentioned.

Like I have never heard this rule before. It's not clearly explained.

Same with AMAs and AMAAs apparently they are not allowed (I tried to make on and it was removed) but it is also not clearly shown.

Also, if I can be punished for things that haven't been written down, how do I bend the rules to annoy everyone? D:
