World Scroll Menu - Never Use 10 Inventory Slots For Scrolls Again! 200+ Supporters!

Most of us have had those times where half of our inventory space is filled with teleportation scrolls. We need more space, but scrolls are currently the most efficient method of transportation between towns. How can the teleportation scroll system still keep its core elements while saving space in your inventory?

Teleportation Menu

The King of Ragni provides you with a Ragni teleportation scroll once you talk to him after the tutorial area. What if, instead of giving you a teleportation scroll, he gave you a Teleportation Menu? This Teleportation menu would store all of the scrolls you buy throughout your adventure and would be an undroppable item beside the Character Info compass in your hotbar. When you select the Teleportation Menu, a chest GUI will show up, presenting you with all the scrolls you currently have. Ex: you recently purchased a Ragni teleportation scroll, and would like to use it. You open the Teleportation Menu and you are presented with all of your scrolls and how many of each you have. You can then click on the Ragni scroll and confirm the teleportation (in another chest GUI that pops up after selecting a scroll, this will prevent people from accidentally selecting the wrong scroll since all scrolls look the same). The GUI could also contain a way to drop the scroll where you're standing, or in front of you, to discard the selected scroll if desired or to give to an ally. The regular teleportation sequence will then begin (literally just teleporting there, nothing special).

The central idea is to save inventory space, which we desperately need since 7 spaces in our inventory are used up by default in the recent update.

 

I actually need this, I have almost every scroll in the game (including Resets), and it takes up half my fucking bank lol.

Scrolls are honestly really important though

 

How about it's not a menu, but a book? That way you can insert the "pages", aka scrolls, into it and be able to use them that way.

Id like a book that you can put in and take out of your bank. I dont want more inventory space to be taken up by something I use only half of the time.

This is supposed to be a very important item that can't be moved like the Character Info compass, Quest Book, and Soul Point count.

 

They're scrolls, not book pages.

Think of it as a portfolio or file that you can stick your scrolls in- But then again, I'm just some idiot :p

 

I do it all the time in history class.

 

I do the same for science :p

 

Our character carries a portfolio around with them? That's kinda dumb. I've seen threads before 9/7 with suggestions stating things such as a Scroll Bag.

 

Sure, whatever, it's just an elaboration- The suggestion itself just said "Teleportation Menu" which I thought was pretty bland and undescriptive so I tried to make it more oriented in-game so that it worked in a way that would make sense world-wise.
