World Spell Lore [32 Supporters]

Righty then, what I think a MMO like Wynn needs is spell lore.

"What do you mean by this?"
I mean lore that tells you how you got your spells.

"How can this work?"
In the chat, whenever you gain a new spell.

"Why should this be added?"
It actually makes spells cooler and makes them more special, since they aren't just something you obtain randomly on your quest.

Archer Examples:

New Spell: "You are determined to become the strongest and bravest! You have learned the Arrow Storm Spell!"

Spell Upgrade:
"You believe you can practice to improve the quality of your mystical spell. Arrow Storm has Upgraded!"

Hunter(Archer Clone) Examples:

New Spell: "An old tinkerer's workshop is full of magical wonders and you use this to practice a new type of attack! You have learned the Arrow Storm Spell!"

Spell Upgrade: "You find a scroll with instructions on how to improve your attacks in the hands of a skeleton. Your Arrow Storm has Upgraded!"

Cool little add on. Nothing really important but would be cool.

Umm... I don't like the fact that you mention a cave because what if your charcter never went into a cave?

 

And quests, if it takes you 50 minutes to do something because of whatever reason, the NPC might say "Wow, you were fast!"

I actually tried to make this thread a long time using the Escape spell as an example, but i deleted the whole thing.....

Darnit, now I'm going to have to spend an hour coming up with spell lore because I'm like that... I'll leave a comment when I think of some...

This kind of stuff maybe only be added around fruma so it could maybe tie into its lore, although you did just give me an idea for a suggestion.

 

Edited a few of the spells' lore.

 

I like it. It would be coolio to have, and could tie in with already known lore (cosmic magic for meteor spell, etc)
