It really just feels like a fetch quest or a repeat of the quest Masterpiece. The references could also be a bit... More subtle...

Seems interesting, does seem similar to the Masterpiece quest. But thank you for actually putting detail into your suggestion unlike half the people that post suggestions.

 

The quest isn't completely bad, but it doesn't exactly stand out against most of Gavel's quests. You might also want to format your thread, and improve the grammar. I found two places where you used "your" when it should have been "you're."

Yes, this is kinda like the quest master peice, and suspended flowers. since the Ink collector is supposed to be the asher and this, I also added a nice poem and even a boss battle, theres no boss battle in suspended flowers or masterpeice!

 

Before I start, I'd like to say that I don't mean to hate your idea or be negative, but there are a few things that I'd like to point out.
This is meant to help you.
First, this quest seems a bit too much like Masterpiece. If you don't know what this quest is, which is odd since they're so similar, it's pretty much you getting a bunch of inspiration for this painter, who at the end of the quest gives you a painting which a merchant in Cinfras will buy for I think 5 LE.
Second, what are the mob stats for the mobs in the ink cave?
Third, mob stats themselves. That thing you added about the Papyrus Guardian regenerating health every 5 seconds? Every mob in the game already does something similar, and it's called regen. Mobs regain a portion of health every ten seconds. And what about the layout themselves? Here's what I'd say it's missing:
Damage
Regen (amount of)
Looks (What mob is it? What is it wearing? What is it holding?)
Elemental Specialties (If any)
Fourth and finally, when you say 'vile' I presume you mean the type of bottle- That's spelled "Vial".
Fifth, the optional- I prefer the quests to have the text colored properly, but I don't really think it's too important.

 

Your right, It is a bit like masterpeice, I did mean Vial, the boss looks like a iron golem holding papyrus.
