Quest Pathway Idea

This would have to be in Fruma/Dern its to late for gavel but in gavel there are some quest decisions like an iron heart(take a bribe or tell the detective) but in fruma or dern you would have an evil pathway and a good pathway like helping the corrupt/decay (what ever is in fruma) I just think it would be cool if you could help the decay/corrupt and go through wynn all over again



Quest exsample: you can either kill a wave of the taint and weaken them (theoriests think that taint is the evil source of Fruma) or kill the king of fruma wich would change your quests in the future. sure it would take ALOT longer to make but I think it would add a lot more playability

Well why would we help the corruption? That's the whole point of Wynn, stopping the corruption and decay and stuff.

 

I don't really understand this taint theory, sure, I understand the Decay, but having a third source of evil slowly destroying the landscape, it would just seem overused at this point.

 

Yeah. Maybe more of an actual monster destroying the land would work.

 

People still team up with the Institute, though.

 

I get a very Aztec vibe from Fruma, since it is the human's home province, I'm imagining ancient idols or something doing bad things.

Not really? Not one major theorist has voiced support for this taint idea, most people don't even know how it started. It started by some people randomly saying stuff with not evidence or anything. Some guys were just like "hey what is fruma has taint and Dern has shadow" and the taint kind of caught on.

 

Have you been living under a rock ? I have seen like 2 different threads not by me containing stuff about Fruma and Taint.

If you wanted to take a different pathway and experience wynn all over it would just be kinda cool if you could take a different quest path helping decay/corrupt

I did not know what u meant as in detail like "i don't understand this" or "this is a bad Idea I might just need to know more" but either way I have added more to the thread I added a "quest exsample" wich just gives you an idea of a quest
