So. I made a post a bit ago about how we could use 1.9 in Wynncraft and many people took interest in a certain point I made. So I am here to expand upon that (plus I am bored studying for finals). Remember, this IS 1.9. And as with all my other concept suggestions, it's a concept. Not gonna be super specific.

Ok so some interesting things about Levitation:

At level 255 you are static on the Y axis, not moving up or down. On another level that I do not know off of the top of my head, you fall slowly. If you corrupt it, you go down slowly.

Now, lets see what we can do with this:

    -------------

Levitating dungeons. I originally got the idea before I knew that the dungeons were gonna be elemental. So I guess air dungeon?

Well whatever. We have a dungeon entrance on top of the molten heights thats probs gonna be fire, one in the swamp thats probs gonna be water, why not have the air one in the sky islands?

Speaking of those, they ARE flying. So why not have the dungeon be a flying dungeon?

    ---------------

    Example room one: Parkore.

So, a parkore room. Why? Well. Remember how I said at a corrupt version makes you go down instead of up? Well the rate of decent is 255 - level of potion blocks per second (level 255 does not count). Meaning if we have a levitation effect of -253, you go down one or two blocks per second. Slow enough to not have fall damage. Add jump boost to this, you can make pretty cool parkore

    ---------------

    Example room two: Bird Tower

So, birds. Well actually bats. Have a long vertical shaft full of bats called "birds" and have the challenge of staying alive while constantly drifting upwards. Cuz why freaking not?

    --------------

    Example room three: Cloud Room.

Ok, so this one is gonna sound a bit strange. Basic, have a bunch of slimes. The slimes are gonna have a white cloud particle effect around them. They are also going to be stuck on the Y axis with that levitation trick I said earlier (slimes actually might not work cuz they move by jumping. Lets go with silverfish if slimes do not work). Anyway, the slimes are invisible with the glowing effect. So you see a glowing cube/cloud attacking you that is not moving up or down.

    -------------

Example room four: Great Bridge, but flying

Ok, what am I saying here? Well, when I say great bridge, I don't actually mean the bridge. I mean the fact that you have bridge shrines trying to knock you off. Similar thing here, except you are flying. You are stuck on the Y axis, and need to go through a hallway with ranged mobs shooting at you.

    ---------------

So that's all I have now. Its a concept, nothing more. But tell me what you think! And I might add something onto it!

this actually sounds great, only one problem, there are a couple of spells that need solid ground to work correctly, while your in the air the following spells will be useless: smoke bomb, meteor, escape, whatever its called warrior does.

that's what I meant, if you cast meteor at empty air it would land around 20 blocks under where it should.

I looked at the wiki. It seems like the only one that would need solid ground is escape and perhaps uppercut. Smoke bomb is just a projectile, and as a mage, I can tell you meteor does not need ground

To make meteor hit correctly, it depends on how the enemy is positioned. Usually just aim a few blocks above the enemy and you should be fine

Oh shoot, I forgot a poll. Will add

The smoke bomb needs either a direct hit on the mob or on a block, if you're floating there are no blocks so you have to snipe them.
Meteor has a kind of homing mechanism but I'm not sure how well it works on mobs mid air.

I don't think you understand. There are blocks. Imagine it like a cylinder. There is still the cylinder, just you are in the middle, not on the sides. For the bridge one for example, the mobs are on the sides. Ure just not.
