World Fast Travel System

Hey Guys!

Today I make this thread suggest a fast travel like system for wynncraft.
At the moment we, wynncraft players, do our travelling between major cities via scrolls, but I think scrolls are pretty uneficient. Per example if you're in the middle of the ocean and want to go to Troms unless you have a scrool with you you'll have to travel by foot/horse...

How it would work:
My suggestion would be to use the soul point ''display'' to add a sort of Hub with all the possible destinations within the same page. As you right click the soul point slot, a chest or double-chest GUI would open with all the possible travelling locations.Of course each location would have an associate cost to which I recommend using the current scroll costs.

Not all travelling locations would be unlocked at first. your would unlock them by visiting the city/location for the first time. Or even putting level or quest requirements in specific locations.

Feel free to take this ideia and develop it or even go more into detail... I'm just trying to pass the main ideia :)

 

new idea: Minecart underground railway, Electrya, from 1.9, or Frost walker from 1.9, :)

Kinda... But the point whole point of this is that you won't need to go and buy the scrolls and have them lying arround your inventory and occupying space... You will have them all together in the same GUI without accupying inventory space.

 

But, but, but Electya... we can fly... but it should be an end game thing, for some classes electrya would be more op then others, like warriors and archers, but its not really flying its gliding, and if there was a quest where u had to fly, and there was flying mobs and u had to fight them while on the electrya would be cool xD

No, it wouldn't be cool. It'd be overpowered and dumb.

 

we need some over powered things ;p and some under powered, there could be electra lvls like horses 1/5 electra would glide and 5/5 you could fly however, Too op but it would obviously be nerfed ;-;

 

Maybe if the *Elytra had some mega debuff, yet you could still fly, it would be good.

 

"need overpowered things" What the hell? Overpowered means it's bad, by being too good. Unfair. Wynn doesn't need to fly. What RPGs do you fly around in?

 

As others have said, too op. You basically just need to have visited the town before and have the correct amount of emeralds on you to get around, making scrolls useless.
Also, i dont think any RPG has stuff like this. Most/some make you walk/run from town to town.

No, they don't. Not like that. Flying is used as a travel method with several limiters. You can't limit Elytra.

 

Yes you can... They glide they dont fly, the only place where you can actually make it useful is if u go on top of mt wynn, or the block before block limit.

 

Yea, wouldn't it be easier to start with Level 100? I think so.

 

Yes, they glide. I know that. Gliding is still pretty powerful. You could camp everything and anything using spells and a bit of trickery. Elytra? Boom level 1s can now solo Qira.

On the other hand, they'd also be useless. Apart from some OP stuff, they're trash.

 

Airship flights between the Letvus Airbase at Cinfras and the Detlas Airbase are accessible after a Level 74 quest.

 

The whole point is that you need to think. What do you value More? Inventory space or fast travel? You are basically just asking for instant travel between cities, with no cost of inventory space, and no emerald cost. Just soul point cost. How does that no sound OP to you?
